The 31mm Pro Auto Macro Extension Tube from Fotodiox is suitable for use with Canon EOS EF & EF-S Lenses for extreme close-up. It is an automatic tube that is able to communicate all electronic functions from the lens to camera including autofocus and auto-exposure. No other optical components are added, so the image will preserve the original optical properties of the lens.

The lens transforms into a macro lens while maintaining its optical quality. By placing distance between your camera body and lens, focusing distance is shortened and the effect of magnifying your subject is created.

Q: 1. is this extension tube compatible with canon 650-D

A: The FotodioX Pro Auto Macro Extension Tube Kit for Canon EF & EF-S Lenses is compatible with the Canon 650D (T4i), yes.

Q: 2. Hello. Will they fit on the nifty fifty, canon 50mm 1.8 STM lens? And my Canon 6d?

A: Yes it goes well.

Q: 3. hello my, it does work whit L lens? 24.105mm?

A: It should work provided it is an canon EOS EF mount and EFS mount.

Q: 4. With this device, what improvement is there to the close focus ratio? Discuss the pros and cons?

A: This is a. good little tool for the price- It has no elements so it relies on the clarity of the lens glass entirely without clarity loss. Im not sure precisely how it alters the close focus ratio in terms of a ratio, but of course it i creasess it because otherwise you wouldnt be able to focus on the object in a macro way--- if your question is, does it distort or alter the look of the focal length my answer would be no, but my experience is that it facilotates different looks with different lenses (tested 28-200 and zooms as well), my advice would be to experiment--- The only con I sont believe is any fault of the device--- that is that you generally pick/up a limited depth of field inherent to the close macro effect, which you may or may not like working with or around....

Q: 5. Will these extension tubes work with a Canon mirrorless camera (e.g., EOS R) and Tamron 90mm lens?

A: Natively, these would only properly mount to EF/EF-S systems and lenses. However, you could use these with the EF-RF adapter, with potentially some loss of autofocus reliability.

Q: 6. is this macro tube compatible with canon eos 1200d

A: As a DSLR, the 1200D uses Canon's EF/EF-S lens mount, which is compatible with this tube set.

Q: 7. Can I use F16, 22, 32 with these tubes. If not what would be the limit, if any?

A: You mean small apertures? Of course, why not? These are merely extension tubes, meaning they're full of nothing but air... All electrical connections are passed on to your lens. Their purpose is to move your lens away from your sensor, adding a magnification ratio which depends on your lens, focal, and distance to subject. Search the web and you'll find plenty of calculations about the actual magnification ratios you can achieve with your lenses. I do not regret buying these cheap but efficient extension tubes.

Q: 8. Does this work with canon 24-105mm or 50mm 1.8?

A: I only tried to put it on the 100mm lens and it didn't fit, so I retuned it and bought the canon model do $84, it works great. My advice is to go with the quality product.

Q: 9. Hi I need adaptor for camera sony fs7 to used lens Canon 70/200 ef f2.8 usm ii

A: These are not lens adapters. They are extension rings for Canon lenses.

Q: 10. Will i still have access to manual focus and will i still have access to aperture and will i still have access to ISO?

A: Yes. You can set your lens to manual focus. You will have control of your aperture and ISO. They work great!

I paired this with my 5D Mark3 and 100mm Canon Macro. This tube fits nice and works very well. Easy to take on and off. Adds needed magnification when needed. For the price, look no further.

I've taken good pictures of very small objects with this tube kit. My regular lenses are more powerfull, there lots of pictures I can take now.

I love the product. It is great if you want a macro effect without having to spend a lot of money on a macro lens.

I wanted to get in to Macro an not break the bank. For me these were a great choice. They are very well built and fit the camera and lens very well. Nothing feels loose. I have used these in every combination and they always feel snug at both ends. The AF and IS work just like they always do. Did not notice any differance in any combination.

Wasn't sure if I want to try an extension tube, but glad that I did. It gives me that extra little bump to get really close up. It attaches easy to my Canon T3 and all of my lenses, so far all of my pictures are sharp and in focus.

Considering the macro world is an expensive proposition, this package got me in the door and enthused about it. I am please with the optics, and the feel. It compliments my camera and the 4 lenses I have for my Canon 5DII very well. I find the best results when used with a tripod.

These things are great. I bought a set to go with my existing macro lenses to get greater than life size. The build is metal and I wouldn't have a problem hanging any Canon lens from these. I haven't tested all of my lenses with all combinationbs yet but from testing I can get the following magnifications with the full set of tubes:60/2.8 = 2.44X100/2.8 L = 1.9X50/1.8 1.3X85/1.8 = .88X135/2 = .7X70-200/4 IS = .88X @ 70mm and .56X at 200mmMy only complaint is sometimes I have to remount the lens a second time because the pins mis-seated the first time I attached the lens and don't allow aperature control until then. For less than $ if one already has a cheap nifty $, you can get better than life size. These are an awesome way toget into macro with out buying a dedicated macro lens for much more.

I can not find anything to complain about with these extension tubes. They do the job they are intended to do perfectly, with no wiggle created between the lens/body. Of course, there is no glass to worry about so optical clarity isn't an issue. Aperture controls still work fine, although I can't speak for focus. I'm not really sure why you would want auto focus when doing macro work with an extension tube anyway :).
