Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. can this be mounted on a tripod?

A: This monocular does Not have a thread for a tripod.

Q: 2. Does this have a zoom feature?

A: Although I am no optics expert, I think this monocular does not zoom . As far as I understand, technically the word zoom means you can vary the amount of magnification. For this monocular the magnification is a straight 10x, hence the designation 10 x 36. A device that could be zoomed would have a designation of 10-12 x 25 or some such, meaning the magnification could vary between 10x and 12x. For this monocular you can focus at different distances- something close, something far away - but the magnification is always 10x. It is a really nice little unit we thoroughly enjoy it.

Q: 3. Is this electrically conductive?

A: No, the StarTech Metal Oxide Thermal Paste is not electrically conductive.

Q: 4. What is the minimum focal distance for this monocular?

A: About 6 yards

Q: 5. Does this have either BAK4 or BAK7 prism?

A: Unfortunately the Manufacturer does not provide this Specification. We reached out, and have not received a response. My apologies for this.

Q: 6. Can it shoot in raw?

A: Unfortunately, the Canon ZOOM cannot capture RAW images.

Q: 7. Does the gen 2 level 1 have manual gain control?

A: All PVS-14 models have manual gain control.

Q: 8. What is the shipping time for hawaii

A: You may calculate your actual shipping options/order totals by adding the items you want to a shopping cart. It will then list the shipping options, descriptions, ETA's and fees to your location.

Q: 9. Does this monocular have Extra-low Dispersion glass?

A: Unfortunately the Vortex 10x25 Solo Monocular does not have Extra-low Dispersion glass.

Q: 10. What is the outside diameter at the front?

A: The outside front diameter of the ZEISS 4x12 Mono T* Monocular is approximately 16mm.
