Convert your 3G-SDI signal to H.264 on the go and send it wirelessly with the 3G-SDI to H.264 Wireless Video Encoder from Kiloview. This portable encoder provides a low-latency, dual-stream output with resolutions up to 1080p60. Send encoded video via Ethernet or use the integrated dual-band Wi-Fi to achieve stable wireless transmission while supporting an optional 4G-LTE USB dongle for mobile applications. The main and sub stream outputs simultaneously send your encoded content to a full range of streaming protocols.

An integrated microSD card slot gives you program recording flexibility, and redundant acquisition support can also be achieved externally with optional USB/NAS solutions. The 3G-SDI input allows for embedded digital audio while analog audio is handled via the 3.5mm input and output ports which, when paired with an optional voice intercom software from Kiloview, can perform real-time voice calls. A web-based interface supports a comprehensive and intuitive set of control options.

A: You do not. If you are going to go direct through Ethernet or WiFi you will not need that subscription plan.

Q: 2. Is this known to work with Tricasters?

A: Yes, as long as your NewTek Tricaster has NDI support the Kiloview N5 3G-SDI to NDI & NDI HX 2/3 Bidirectional Converter will be compatible.

Q: 3. Does the 4G or 5G modem come in the box or are they purchased separately?

A: The Kiloview P3 5G Bonding Video Encoder does not come with modems, and you will need to add sims for the modem cards. Q: 5. Is a LTR Subscription required to use the solo U?

A: An LTR Subscription is not required. However it is recommended by LiveU if you are going to be using the unit out in the field.

Q: 6. Is an A/C adapter included with the solo ?

A: Yes, the LiveU Solo comes with an AC power cord to power it from an outlet.

Q: 7. Does the unit itself encode and transmit SRT or does that happen on the server side after it has been received?

A: The Kiloview P3 5G Bonding Video Encoder encodes and transmits SRT directly from the device. The encoder will accomplish it over the network using the SRT protocol.

Q: 8. Can this unit stream directly to YouTube by setting up the stream directly through YouTube and not go through the solo portal? Our public access station is on a budget so we would like to avoid monthly fees where we can.

A: Hi Shannon, The Solo portal is included with your purchase so there are no additional fees assocaited with the portal. The portal is used to tell the unit where you want the signal to go, so you would go to the portal first and tell the unit to send your stream to YouTube.

Q: 9. I understand the 5G functionality, but I assume I need to have a paid 5G service. How does this connect to the 5G service?

A: When using the Kiloview P3 5G Bonding Video Encoder, you can add up to a total of four 4G and 5G modem cards. You would provide the SIM for each card and pay for the data through services like AT&T and Verizon that provide mobile data SIM cards. 4G Modem card for P3: https://bhpho.to/3YS2qpJ 5G modem card for P3: https://bhpho.to/4dbWvjg
