This strap has many advantages over the strap that comes with your camera. First is the fact that it is neoprene which makes it very comfortable even when a large telephoto lens is attached to your camera. Second it breathes which keeps the moisture away from your skin which is helpful when it is very hot and sticky. Third is the fact that it has no markings on it like the straps that come with the camera. You do not feel like you are wearing a billboard that tells potential thieves and muggers from a distance, look at this expensive camera I have. I greatly recommend this strap.

I'm using this strap as a replacement for the default Canon 60D strap and the difference is night and day.It feels great around the neck and distributes the weight evenly. Do yourself a favor and order this strap now!The one thing that could be better is for it to come with a different connector to the camera. The default one works fine, but I prefer th Uni--Loops adn Adapt-its. Those you'll have to order separately ...

I was looking for a comfortable strap and longer then the strap comes with the camera. This fits perfectly in that category. It's around 6inches longer and it has nice wide neoprene which gives lot of comfort and ease while using heavy gears. I am 5'6 and I can use this strap on cross-shoulder. It's much cheaper compared to other strap which can be used cross-shoulder.

I recently bought a pair of Nikon binoculars which were a little heavier than I had anticipated. The stock strap that came with the binoculars was too thin and made from a rough nylon that scratched my neck. This Op/Tech strap is an excellent replacement strap because it is comfortable on my neck, it looks good, and is very durable. Op/Tech claims that this strap can reduce the effective weight of your gear by about 50%. I think that this is a fair claim because my binoculars don't feel really heavy when I use this strap and the strap also reduces any shock when I am walking around with them on my neck. Also I like how there are no big logos on the strap. I highly recommend this strap.

I don't have a lot of experience with neck straps, this was my first one after the default one that came with my 7D, but it's awesome, it has a little bit of bounce to it which is really nice, but not too much, and the neoprene is pretty comfy on the neck. I often carry 4 lbs of camera gear around my neck and this makes it a lot more enjoyable. Recommended for sure. After 3 or 4 hours of use it chafes a little but I'm pretty sure that'll happen with absolutely any strap out there.

The strap even though good on it own when paired up with System Connector Uni-Adapter Loop Set by Op/Tech makes the strap more adjustable and allows the ability of shortening the body connectors so that when the strap is removed (as mounted on tripod or telescope) the connectors are not hanging in the way.

This strap is much more comfortable than the strap that came with my DSLR.
