Bringing a modern twist to hardware pattern sequencing, the Torso Electronics T-1 is a desktop, 16-track algorithmic sequencer with a focus on generative- and evolving-pattern creation. It combines a Euclidian rhythm generator with an arpeggiator to allow you to dial in any rhythm and melody in a manner of seconds. You can also add a bit of random modulation or change in the probability of a step being played to surprise your audience or yourself. The T-1 is not in itself an instrument. Each of the T-1’s 16 tracks can be set up in one of three modes.

• Note mode: compose rhythms and melodies from scratch with the Euclidean rhythm generator, advanced note repeater, and arpeggiator, and tweak them to your desire with detailed step editing.
• CC mode: take absolute control over sound design with 16 CC knobs and add automation via random modulation and step editing.
• FX mode: create real-time MIDI FX to expand and transform your musical ideas. Connect a MIDI keyboard for hands-on live performance.

T-1's Euclidean rhythms feature embedded velocity, grooves, and swing make it a powerful tool for generating a wide range of evolving and dynamic patterns.

Add repeats on top of Euclidean pulses and apply different voicing styles to build repeating and arpeggiating patterns.

Randomization can be added to every parameter, on each track, making it possible to add slight variations or total random chaos.

T-1 offers 7 musical scales + one user scale per track. Lock notes into musical scales and create melodies by modulating the pitch with different melody phrases and looping, random sequences.

Ableton Link enables wireless synchronization and transport control between your T-1 and multiple, separate audio devices across a Wi-Fi network.

What you see is what you get: at every touch of a knob or push of a button, 16 RGB keypads show you the state of the instrument, while offering up a quick way to jump to a new setting in real time.

T-1 has the ability to connect to analog gear with a variety of configuration options that ensure most applications can be covered. It uses 3.5mm mini jack inputs and outputs for gates, control voltages, synchronization of clock, and reset. An individual control voltage input is also available to access several T-1 internal functions.

A: No, the Samson G-Track Pro USB microphone is for use with computers only. It can not be connected to a camera or used with analog adapters. You can convert an analog mic to digital/USB, but you can't convert digital/USB mics to analog. You will need a standard analog mic to use with the camera.

A: The Bogen DDU250 Desktop Dynamic Gooseneck Microphone has a programmable switch that can be set for either push-to-lock or push-to-talk operation. Push-to-talk is a momentary function that engages the mic only when the button is pressed and held. As soon as the button is released, the mic switches off. Push-to-lock allows the switch to be locked in the on position so the mic is active until the switch is pressed again to turn the mic off.
