Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will the Cuff fit on a Leica Q2?

A: Yes, as long as you have split rings for the eyelets. If you need rings, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3jnYJ3Q

Q: 2. What is the largest length the strap can be adjusted to? My wrist CIRCUMFERENCE is 7 inches. Could I wear the wrist strap on top of a heavy glove (Wrist circumference with glove on is 10 inches). Am doing a cold weather trip.

A: I just measured mine, and at its max, the circumference is eleven inches.

Q: 3. how much is the maximum weight capacity?

A: The anchors are rated at 200lb.

Q: 4. I’m finding it a bit awkward to un-snug the strap when I’m done using it. Am I missing some trick?

A: The aluminum-alloy sliding buckle on the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap allows you to adjust by sliding the piece back and forth for the most comfortable fit to your wrist.

Q: 5. I own a Nikon D7000 and D7500. Can you use the wrist strap and still leave the Neck Strap attached?

A: Unfortunately the Anchor Links would take up up at least one of the strap lugs, so a standard Nikon strap cannot work in conjunction with this wrist strap.

Q: 6. I have the older PD camera slide strap. I believe it's the v2. If I buy the Cuff v3, will my v2 anchor links work with v3 Cuff?

A: Yes

Q: 7. Will this work on a Hasselblad X2D?

A: The Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap (Black) is not compatible with the strap lugs on theHasselblad X2D 100C Medium Format Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 8. what is the weight capacity of the quick release strings. will it handle my nikon d750, loaded battery grip & 24-120 lens ??

A: For sure it will. I have it on a D610 with the battery grip and a bevy sigma 24-105. I have tested it too and no problem. I really like the strap. It is very well designed especially the magnet to make it like a bracelet when not in use. The build quality is great. Go for it.

Q: 9. Do these include the v4 anchor connectors?

A: Yes, the Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap (Black) includes the latest version of the anchor links.

Q: 10. Does this scratch the camera if left attached and placed into a camera bag?

A: Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap has an aluminum-alloy sliding buckle which allow you to adjust the strap to your wrist can potentially scratch your camera LCD if your bag is not holding the camera in place. The strap is really easy to detach from the anchor links. I will recommend detaching the wrist strap from the anchor if your bag does not have adjustable dividers to hold your camera in place.

This cuff is on my camera all the time. Even when I use the strap, I still keep this on the camera just for the extra security. When I first got it, I feel that the cuff is slightly wider than expected and feels weird when using it. But after a few days of use, I can say that this is the most comfortable cuff that I ever own. I use it in the rain. I use it in the snow. I use it even in the ocean (not recommended because it takes some work to wash off the seawater). It is easy to switch between the cameras. The only downside is that it is not for the compact camera with a small strap hole because the loop on the anchor is too thick to get into the small space.

Absolutely fantastic strap. I use it frequently between my Instax Mini 90, Instax Wide, Espio Zoom 105, and any other of my small cameras in my collection for walkabout duty. I do wish the strap was a little longer to make it easier to wrap around my large wrists (I can't quite get the magnet in place to make a secure connection when wrapped around my wrist).

This wrist strap is lightweight, and super functional. Two favorite things... 1. you can attach and un-attach the strap from the anchors single-handed, and 2. a cleverly placed magnet allows you to wear the strap tidily on your wrist if it's not on the camera.

I am relatively new to photography, but I never liked neck strap. When I saw this strap (also recommended a by Omar Gonzalez), I thought I’d give a try. I love it! Keeps camera secure, but accessible. It slips on tight to wrist!

Honestly this is probably one of the most well-designed things I own. I mean, yeah I get that it's just a wrist strap but I mean come on it's beautiful, ergonomically sound, and comfy as hell. It makes shooting with both my SLR and my hulking medium format Mamiya TLR a dream. I love this thing.

Very good for quick jobs that require extra security. Great when you don’t want to put the strap around your neck. I am very safe with the camera attached to my arm
