A: Yes, the BH-50 ballhead can be replaced with another ball head. The top of the center column features a 3/8" male thread, so most tripod "heads" with a 3/8" inner thread will fit . Yes, the center column is removable and the tripod is usable without it.

A: This tripod does not allow for a leg to be removed and used as a tripod.

A: Yes the Veo 2 235CB would be great for long exposure with a Nikon D500 with a Nikon 70-200mm or Tamron 150-600mm attached to it.

A: Yes. It is compatible with the peak design plate. That’s what I use. Anything tripod/head that says Arca Swiss will work.
