This 3-stop, 82mm Kase KW Revolution Reverse Soft-Edge Grad Filter mounts on the front of your lens to provide you with a soft graduated filter with an adjustable angle. The reverse soft graduation transitions from light at the edges to dark at the center. The filter is stackable and compatible with Kase Wolverine filters, and it features a rotating front so you can adjust the angle of the graduation once the filter is mounted on your lens.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will I get vignetting if I stack multiple filters? Should I get a size larger than my lens to avoid that?

A: It depends how wide the lens is. If you are using very wide lens such as 16mm on a full frame camera the more filters you stack from the Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit (82mm) the more likely you are too get vignetting. That Kase filter kit does have an inlaid adapter ring, that helps to reduce vignetting if the lens is not super wide, for example 28mm on full frame. But even in 28mm if you stack too many filters you may get vignetting. If you are planning on stacking multiple filters on a wide lens it is better to get a filter holder as that allows you to use 100mm wide filters, and that will reduce the chance of vignetting like this Nisi V7. https://bhpho.to/36m5ssY

Q: 2. Do the Wolverine step up adapters work with the Revolution filters?

A: Yes the Kase Wolverine magnetic step up rings are compatible with both the Wolverine and Revolution lines of filters.

Q: 3. Can you use the lens hood when these filters are attached?

A: The filters and rings available with Kase KW Revolution Mega Set do not protrude outside the 72mm diameter therefore the dedicated lens hood could be attached on the lens bayonet.

Q: 4. Which matte box do you recommend that fits 67 mm Kase revolution that suits a sony zv-e10 and takes rectangular filters?

A: The SmallRig Mini Matte Box Lite (BH #SM3575) would allow you to use a rectangular filter in addition to the Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit (67mm) when shooting with the Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera (Black), BH #SOZVE10B.

Q: 5. Is this the latest system from kase as if 2023 or is this an older kit? I want to get the latest and greatest.

A: The Kase KW Revolution Entry Kit (82mm) is a great entry set for the "Revolution" series of filters. The KW Revolution filters are made with shock-resistant and water-resistant optical glass that's durable and easy to clean, and that doesn't cause any color cast. In addition to being front-threaded, magnetic adapters. This gives them an edge over their "Wolverine" series filters.

Q: 6. If my largest lens requires an82mm filter, can I purchase this kit and a set of step up rings to cover filter use on all others?

A: Yes, you can use step rings to place these filters on the smaller diameter lenses, but keep in mind that it should be magnetic Kase Step rings like this https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1512731-REG/kase_kw_msp_7782_magnetic_adapter_ring_step.html of appropriate size. We also recommend to have these wrenches when you work with filters and specifically step rings. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1407949-REG/sensei_62_72mm_rubberized_filter_wrench.html

Q: 7. Will the Kase Revolution 82mm filters cause any vignetting on the Nikon Z 14-30 1.8 S lens?

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens (B&H # NIZ14304) has a 82mm filter size and should work with the Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit (82mm), B&H # KA82KWRPNDK, without any vignette.

Q: 8. Is this item compatible with the Nikon 14-24 f/2.8 lens?

A: Yes, the Kase KW Revolution Magnetic CPL Filter (Silver Ring, 112mm) is compatible with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S Lens.

Q: 9. What size adapter rings come in this kit?

A: The Kase KW Revolution Professional ND Kit (82mm) comes with an 82mm magnetic adapter ring.

Q: 10. Can you still use lens hoods when using Kase Revolution Magnetic filters?

A: The filters in the Kase KW Revolution Mega Set (82mm) are front threaded, so it would be possible to attach a lens hood.

I absolutely love this stand. It goes up high or drops to the floor so it is very versatile. Plus the price is not bank breaking. I will be buying more of these stands in the future for sure.

I've been looking for a short but strong stand, and this is it. Regular stands only go down to 3 feet and my short stands just weren't strong enough to hold a softbox. The legs lay flat on the ground, which is kind of weird, but it works fine.

Love this stand! From the moment I pulled it out of the box it was easy to use, setup quickly, sturdy and love that it allows me to take my PLM to the ground!

Perfect (for me) balance of weight, size, and stability. I use them with 24 Impact Quickboxes as part of a portable studio along with the Impact 5'x7' collapsible background.

I've been a long time user (5 years) of the Manfrotto Nano stand but came to these Matthews Reverse Stands from a wedding photographer colleague. The Matthews are taller, have a wider footprint, and hold 4x the weight than the Manfrotto Nanos. By the time you add a flash bracket and speedlite, these are just about the perfect height for reception and event rim lighting. I've also mounted my Elinchrom Rangers/ELB 400 head with a 39 deep octa for location run & gun portraits with an assistant. Very sturdy and easy to maneuver in tight city locations. Highly recommended and well worth the minor price increase over the Manfrotto Nano stands.

The stand is perfect! It allows me to have my umbrella reach the ground for light low enough for my newborn sessions.

There are much better stands, but nothing I know for what i need: light, going all the way to the floor, easy to transport and install.
