This issue is isolated to a small production batch of the original MagBox Speedring adapters (not the MagRing) that didn’t meet our design specifications. The design of the new MagBox Pro Speedring resolves these strict product requirements to ensure super fast MagBox mounting as well as rock-solid magnetic mounting strength. A: According to MagMod, the MagBox Small Case only fits the (now discontinued) MagMod MagBox 24 Octa Softbox (24"), B&H # MABOX24OCT01, and the current MagMod MagBox Pro 24" Octa, B&H # MAPRBS24V1, and no other modifiers.
