If you are using Illustrator on the computer, you will have the full functionality of the Illustrator desktop program. This includes drawing paths. The tablet does not work by itself like an iPad.

Let me start by stating I was trained a traditional artist that worked on large pieces and murals. The addition of digital work in my portfolio has always been a challenge as I've been relegated to small surfaces and screens. I've been on a Cintiq 13HD Touch for a few years and when I was ready to upgrade, I was concerned over the cost of the new Pro line, but the touch is a must for me. I picked up the refurbished unit and have only been working on it for a few days, but it's amazing. The space alone makes me more comfortable working (though it is an adjustment having such a large screen), the color is fantastic, and the little annoyances are more my adjusting than anything else. The Express remote is pretty fantastic as well (though the magnet is a bit weak. It slid off from a mostly vertical surface and hit the floor one night, though sustained no damage.) The ability to customize the buttons to the tools I use most is very helpful in better ergonomics than me reaching for the keyboard. My only complaint (and this may be user error at this point) is certain bindings don't seem to work very consistently, such as Shift and Alt keys. Knowing that the warranty is honored by Wacom is also a big plus. Overall, definitely worth taking the plunge. 5

Received it on the day promised and had it set up in an hour or so. B&H is so easy to do business with. Loving my new Cintiq Pro 24 and enjoying its ease of use and functionality. A great addition to my studio workflow! Only regret is not being able to do this sooner. :-) 5

I read that some of the Wacom Pen Displays came with dead pixels and or dust under the screen. Normally with my luck I would likely get one of these issues but this time I received a perfect unit! No issues so far… Setup was a breeze as soon as I plug it in to my Mac Pro (2010 3.43GHz 6-Cores) a Wacom window popped up and just follow the steps. I had debated on getting the 32” version but the 24” was a right fit, not too small and not too big. Looking at it turned off it looks small but once you turn on the 24” size you can experience what you need vs want. It’s my first Pen Display upgrading from an Wacom Intuos Pro medium I find it FAR easier to use. I will update this post once I’ve actually use this more to provide a better experience. This Cintiq works great, and had an easy set up. I use it with a 50 inch 4K tv as a monitor and have split my programs to use one or the other screens. It has a great feel and I like the screen glass cover with its frosted texture. It is the right size for painting, as anything smaller would need too much zooming in and out. The express remote is fantastic and mostly keeps my left off the keyboard. I am glad I didn’t get the 16, the 24 is perfect! 5

Came in perfect condition. I waited years to upgrade to a cintiq from a traditional non screen tablets. What I dislike about Apple iPad and past cintiq was the glossy glass texture against plastic nibs, it felt very off to me. This screen is more matt and texture similar to old Wacom tablet surfaces and there's no glare! I love just about everything there is. My only issue is how noisy the fans are and it can run pretty warm, so make sure there is good venilation to keep it cool. Great purchase overall, it feels more natural and is plenty large. 5
