When a headset mic isn't the right fit for your needs, try the black LAVALIERE Lapel Microphone from VocoPro, an optional accessory for the UHF-BP1 bodypack. This compact cardioid condenser mic clips directly onto clothing for fast and discreet fastening.

The 3' cord snaps into the clip mount for reliably secure use. The cardioid pickup pattern of the condenser capsule rejects noise from the sides and rear, making it a great choice for noisy sets and focused, unidirectional sound capture. LAVALIERE uses a TA3 (3-pin mini-XLR) connector, which locks into the input jack of the UHF-BP1 bodypack, preventing accidental pull outs. This mic includes a removable foam windscreen.

Note: This product is only compatible with the VocoPro UHF-BP1 bodypack transmitter.

Q: 1. Would this unit be suitable for bal audio distribution from mixer to powered speakers? (sound reinforcement without spkr or audio lines from mixer to powered cabs) thank you

A: This system worked well for in-ear monitors but we used this system and it worked a lot better than the vocopro system: https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Alto%20Stealth%20Wireless%20-%20Stereo%20Wireless%20System%20for%20Active%20Loudspeakers%20%20&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search= target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=Alto%20Stealth%20Wireless%20-%20Stereo%20Wireless%20System%20for%20Active%20Loudspeakers%20%20&N=0&InitialSearch=yes&sts=ma&Top+Nav-Search=/a

Q: 2. Does the 1/4 mic out jack provide a mixed mono output for both channels on the receiver?

A: The 1/4" connector on the VocoPro UHF-28-9 Dual-Channel UHF Wireless Handheld Microphone System (9M: 915.0/9N: 918.7 MHz) is an unbalanced line output, which indicates the signal from both microphones is summed up to mono.

Q: 3. Could the transmitter work as IFB transmitter with the mic input (meaning the mic in could be used in conjunction with inputs in the back)?

A: There is a line input on back ot transmitter which may be used: The stationary transmitter is equipped with three XLR-1/4" combo jacks, one 1/8" mic, and one 1/8" line input, so it can be used for both music and voice transmission

Q: 4. what frequency does this transmit at?thanks

A: The UBP800 is designed to work with the Bogen UDMS800 wireless mic system which operates within 470 MHz-490 MHz

Q: 5. Does it work with wireless equipment? Sennheiser G3/Rodelink, etc?

A: This lavalier mic does have a 3,.5mm connection,.and it will work well with the Rode Wirelss Go system. But be aware that the Sennheiser systems as well as the Rodelink systems require a locking 3.5mm connection, so this mic may not make a secure connection and can easily pop out with those transmitters.

Q: 6. How long last the internal battery on the transmitter? 12 hours will be ideal

A: According to VocoPro, the internal battery lasts 2-3 hours on a full charge.

Q: 7. If used with a Tv, does any latency occur, or all the lips and the sound in sync?

A: The VocoPro SilentSymphony-SOLO Wireless Audio Broadcast & Headphone System (BH # VOSILSYMPHS) should operate with little discernable latency.

Q: 8. Is the 1/4" output a TS or TRS?

A: 1/4" TS (Unbalanced).

Q: 9. How do I turn the battery box on?

A: To power this system up, plug the power supply of the receiver box into AC wall power, then flick the "power" switch button on front of the face. Two AA batteries must be installed into each of the belt pack transmitters. Gain for each mic can be adjusted on the corresponding colored knobs on the front of the receiver box.

Q: 10. Good Option for loud and large crowds, like in a school cafeteria?

A: Yes, the VocoPro UHF-3205-10 UHF Dual-Channel Rechargeable Wireless Microphone System could be used in a school cafeteria setting. This system has a specified maximum operational distance of 197 feet or 60 meters, but reception can be affected by obstructions in between the transmitter and receiver, including bodies. When paired with a robust speaker PA system, this could work well for loud and large crowds as described. The wireless microphone system does not amplify itself.
