[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker is great. I used it at a get together at my house and had it outside and the sound was awesome. I use it inside the house as well and the mix between treble and bass are great. I used it with the JBL app as well and this boombox 3 does the trick.The handle fits perfect in the hand and is very easy to carry around. The look is simple and sleek. This is one of the best speakers I have. Wish it would connect to the party box and charge 4 I have but unfortunately it does not. This is the only draw back I see. The sound is of high quality, crisp and clean. Would recommend to anyone. Easy to connect and play. Battery run time is awesome I played it for 8 hrs straight and still shows over half battery left. Charging is simple.

First Off I LOVE ALL JBL AUDIO PRODUCTS!!!! JBL in my opinion is on top when it comes to sound quality. No matter what you're listening to, it's extremely clear and defined. For you Dubstep and Bass Junkies out there, look no further. The Boombox 3 has all the bass you need in a portable platform. This beast rips hard. And the bass hits even harder. Punchy bass hits, with crsytal clear drops. Electronic Music has never sounded better.
If you want Loud as heck. This is perfect. Honestly I've gotten headaches its so darn loud. But for me Louder the better, and this unit exceeds all expectations.

The price tag can scare some away, but I assure you the JBL Boombox 3 is worth every penny and more. It's tough as nails, the quality is very high. Plus its waterproof and dustproof. I use mine in a shipyard, where it gets loud, but my speaker is louder!

The battery is great with days of run time and no worries of it running out of battery. And the ability to link multiple speaker is a plus.

Ive had it for 24 hours now and was lucky enough to snag this for black friday. Been eyeballing this model for a year after my xtreme 2 finally died after MANY years and countless hours of quality music. As a chef its important a speaker can keep up with the abuse of a kitchen and JBL never falls short. Also got a clip4 for mom for her shower and shes in heaven with it. So far I typically use this at 60% volume and it came about 80% charged. Ive got easily 8 hours in so far and battery indicator still shows 25% full. I know this will last a longgggg time for me. I'm an old school cat. I love all types of music. And this speaker handles every genre. Excellent highs, mids and very low ends. Jbl really hit a grand slam with this one. I'm really happy with my Boombox 3. And I highly recommend it to everyone. You will NOT be disappointed.

The JBL Boombox 3 is the best in its class. I have tried and listened to all of them and I always came back to the Boombox 3. Do yourself a favor and get it. If it's a matter of cost, just budget for it and save. Don't buy something that will not measure up because of the price tag.

From the packaging, to the close attention to details, the speaker is close to perfect. Very pronounced booming low frequency bass notes with crispy highs, almost any type of media played sounds great.

Sound Quality: Booming bass that has enough volume to shake the surface it’s set on, to crispy highs that can be heard from a good distance. The audio quality is near perfect for any use. Indoors, the speaker proves to be the center of attention with its very punchy bass where as outdoors it’s drowned out at higher volumes by the mids and highs, although still sounding great. A/C Power mode takes the already great sound to now louder and punchier space providing extra power to the drivers.

Build Quality: Rugged, Waterproof, and Trustworthy.
The high quality materials is noticeable at first touch. The handle seems very stiff and study. The rubbery ribbed base provides a good amount of contact to any surface to keep the speaker steady. Water resistance is a key feature of the speaker. Providing ease of mind in outdoor environments. Although being waterproof, there is noticeable audio disconnections while being slightly submerged.

Packaging: Keeping it simple and productive, there is very minimal amounts of items included in the box. The speaker, charging cord and provided manuals is all to expect once opening the box. Clean and strait to the point is always a good thing, allowing the music to start sooner!

Overall: The JBL BoomBox 3 provides pounding low notes while keeping the music clear and understandable at all volumes.
