A: If your sinar has a graflex back then it will fit. My old sinar did. Realize that if you are using a Nikon dslr that has a mirror you will not be able to slide the Nikon very far from center. This is because the distance between the sensor and the front of the camera where the lens would normally mount is too far and the edges will cast a shadow. That space is taken up by the mirror movement and is Calle the mirror box That's the problem I had with this adapter. It's well built but I could only use it near the center of the 4x5 area with my D800E. It should work fine with a mirrorless DSLR like th Sony alpha7 assuming you have the correct adaptor.

Q: 2. What software is recommended to stitch the images together?

A: I have used Adobe Lightroom and also PTGui software to stitch the photos together.

Q: 3. Does your digital camera have to have a full sensor for this to work/focus properly? Would a rebel work?

A: Thanks for your answers, they were helpful in making a decison to purchase this. Unfortunately the focusing with a rebel is a pain and not possible with 120mm lens. I bought a bunch of FP-100C instant film to hold me over until I figure another solution out. I really just wanted this for test shots to see how the lighting looked and then take the final image 4x5 film. Color film is too expensive to text on these days haha

A: It works with any camera that will accept Graphic style film back accessories. It's sort of an industry standard so, if I were a betting man ..... And BTW, you'll love your images! HUGE!

Q: 5. Can you please explain those numbers 1,2,3 and 6,4,6 are? Which one to use for full-frame camera or orientation (portrait or landscape) to use with those numbers?

A: The unit only works in horizontal direction .You would need to rotate the camera to use this adaptor in portrait orientation.The numbers are guides for repeat positioning.Depending on your camera the guides would represent a certain amount of overlap for the final stitching.

Q: 6. What are the limitations of the adapter when it comes to using tilts and shifts?

A: Tilts and shifts will be extremely limited because of the tunnel vision effect it will have. The the recessed imaging sensor of the DSLR system, by design, will severely restrict any off axis positioning of the camera. Similar to holding an empty paper towel roll up to your eye and looking through it. BTW, this particular product MUST be used on a camera that has a 180 degree ROTATING Graphlock back. It will not work on the old Speed or Crown Graphic cameras. Enter an answer to this question.

A: This back is compatible with the following 4x5 cameras: Cambo, Linhof, Calumet, Horseman, Omega, Toyo, and Kodak with Graflok back.

A: To our knowledge, the Fotodiox Pro Hasselblad V Large Format 4x5 adapter has only been tested on Cambo, Linhof, Calumet, Horseman, Omega, Toyo, and Kodak 4x5 cameras with Graflok backs.

Q: 9. Would this work with a Graflex press camera?

A: This doesn't replace or substitute for the camera back. A Graflock back is needed for use with this adapter. If a Graflock back works with the press camera this adapter will work.
