The Leica BP-SCL7 is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for the M11 rangefinder camera. It has an 1800mAh capacity with an output voltage of 7.4V and is designed to provide power for approximately 700 shots when working with live view or approximately 1700 shots if solely working with the optical viewfinder. The BP-SCL7 can be recharged with the BC-SCL7 Battery Charger.

I guess that we are trapped in the Leica eco system. This thing is so expensive that I need to extend its life as much as possible. I would cry if I lost it, lol B&H shipped the item with no delay as usual. They are the best online retailer in the world!! Thanks 5

The Leica Q3 is reasonable on battery life. Now that you can use a battery brick to charge via the USB C connection it may not be needed but the battery is smaller and lighter than a brick. Plus the battery is charged. 5

These Leica battery packs last for hundreds of shots, and not only recharge quickly, but seem to charge in-camera with the Leica SL2 and SL2-S even faster using the USB port. With two cameras and an extra battery each in a Tenba case, I have yet to run out. Works fine, lasts a long time. 5

Worked without a hitch. It does tend to keep it's charge better as well over prolonged durations of not using it, so coupled with USB-C charging on the Q3 you'll rarely ever need more than a spare during an extended outing! 5

Needed a spare battery and was delighted to see a more powerful one for less $ than the previous model. Haven’t compared the life to the other, but you can find that on line. 5
