The military green Storejet 25M3 Portable Hard Drive from Transcend is built with 2TB of storage and a USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface that transfers up to 5 Gb/s. This bus-powered hard drive connects to your computer via USB Type-A and keeps data secure with an integrated 256-bit AES file encryption. The Storejet 25M3 is made from military-grade silicone rubber and features a reinforced casing that resists shock in case of accidental drops.

The internal 2.5" hard drive receives further protection from a built-in suspension system alongside its quick reconnect button, which re-enables the disconnected hard drive without having to remove or reinsert the USB cable. A: As per the manufacturer the StoreJet 35T3 is pre formatted to the FAT32 file system, it can be recognized on most types of computers, game consoles and media playback devices. However, the FAT32 file system does not support large files that exceed 4GB in size, or partition sizes above 2TB. If you plan to store large files that are larger than 4GB, you will need to convert the drive to a different file system such as NTFS. Additionally if you would like to use the entire capacity of the drive in a single partition, you would need to repartition the drive, and format with exFAT, NTFS, or Mac HFS+.

This external hard drive are that I was looking for, very faster data transfer, very well build... I bought it to storage pictures on vacations. I had to formatted it before use, don't care the software that come with..I delate everything it work perfect with my macbook pro. These days, 1TB is about the minimum most people would need for any sort of backup, and it's an absolute minimum for people in the digital AV industry.Well, this one works fine, looks nice, and is about $ less than most portable 1TB devices. It seems to be a quality device, meets mil-spec drop standards - I think it's pretty much everything anyone could want in a portable hard drive.I don't use the included software, so I can't comment on that. Overall I'd definitely buy it again, especially at this price! 5

We have had the StoreJet for a short period of time but so far we are impressed. We are using it as a backup on a PC. It is lightweight and fast and we love that it has the non-skid surface and seems quite durable. 5

When it was arrived and I pulled out it from the box I was pleasently surprised. The disk cover is something like rubber and it is comfortable to hold it and you don't afraid you accidently drop it. It is lightweight and looks nice. When I attached to PC the software was installed quickly and without any questions. The purpose of the disk is to have movies and media files on it. I started copying files and it was really fast. That was my second pleasant surprise. File operations are really quick. I like this product. 5

I use this as both backup for my 500 GB MacBook Pro, and have a partition which allows me to carry a boatload of video when on a trip. Rugged looking case, made of rubber-like stuff, will probably stay nice looking than one of the typically made-of-aluminum variety. It will likely survive drops better than conventional aluminum cases, but I hope never to have to test it. 5
