Good , cheap lense. Only difference between this and the Canon is the word Canon and the shiny factor. Looks cool, does the job. Fits very snug which is a plus since everyone complains they can't get it on. That's how it should be. 5

This lens hood fit my Canon 18-55mm kit lens just nicely. It twists on to the outside of the lens but once it's on, it takes time to remove because it's so tight. I just keep it on all the time because it doesn't protrude too far. However this also means it doesn't shade out much light in most situations. At the very least you have an extra layer to protect your lens and filter (if you have one). 5

i order just before the holidays. Just in case for protection more than anything since i was going to shoot indoors. i'm so glad i did a flying toy almost hit my lens glass. another plus is that now i have a better grip of the manual focus ring that was so tiny.18-55mm is II 5

Good product so far. Had good reviews from others. Was willing to take a chance because it was inexpensive compared to Canon product. Not hard to get on. Was able to get lens cap on with the hood on. Haven't had the chance to download photos yet to see the difference with the hood on. If anything, it'll protect my lens from bumps! 5
