Optimized for demanding uses in professional photography and cinematography, the 64GB Essential UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from Exascend lets you quickly record and offload footage, even when working with extreme bitrates, to help ensure there are no dropped frames. This card features a storage capacity of 64GB and utilizes the UHS-II bus to deliver maximum sequential read speeds of 300 MB/s and maximum sequential write speeds of 260 MB/s. Thanks to its V90 speed class rating, minimum write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 90 MB/s.

To help facilitate card usage in almost any environment, as well as keeping your content safe, Exascend has built the Essential series with a rugged design that can withstand water, dust, impact, X-rays, magnets, and temperatures ranging from -13 to 185°F. To help protect your data from being accidentally deleted, there is a built-in write protect switch.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and, while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Q: 1. What card do you recommend for - SONY RX100/. M7 CAMERA ?

A: The Lexar 128GB Professional 1066x UHS-I SDXC Memory Card (SILVER Series), BH # LELSD1281066 would be just fine for the Sony RX100 VII. https://bhpho.to/3LkbsSF

Q: 2. Is this a good card for Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II?

A: Yes, this is a good card for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II - especially in Slot 1 which could take advantage of the UHS-II speeds.

Q: 3. Does anyone know if this card would work well with the Black Magic Pocket 4K? Would it run into any issues?

A: This should work more than fine with the BMP4K.

Q: 4. Will the ProGrade Digital 256GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card (2-Pack) work on the Sony FX3?

A: The ProGrade 256GB UHS-II cards work on the FX3. When using a V60 card you will be restricted from higher frame rates and codecs. It's highly recommended you use the silver V90 cards instead.

Q: 5. Is this card recommended for the Panasonic HC-X1?

A: Though these are UHS-II cards, they would still work quite well in your camera, you could also get away with: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1431034-REG/sandisk_sdsdxxy_128g_ancin_extremepro_sdxc_128gb_card.html

Q: 6. Best cards for Sony a7r3

A: Hi Heber, We have found that the best option for the Sony a7 Series is a V90 card especially if you are planning on shooting video. The ProGrade Digital V60 cards have been tested in those cameras and will work just fine as well. All flash memory slows down over time with multiple write/erase cycles and they need to be sanitized. The V90 card will give you more "headroom" for recording high-res video. We have a white paper about this on our website if you are interested.

Q: 7. Does a 250MB/s memory card have any distinct advantage over a 170MB/s memory card; either for continuous shooting, or downloading photos to a computer?

A: Hi James, Yes, a 250MB/s card does have advantages in shooting stills, capturing video and in downloading content to a computer. Both the read and write speeds are faster on that card than on the card you reference. You are less likely to notice a difference when shooting stills since both cards will likely keep up with the buffer of your camera but if you are shooting video you be able to capture video at the highest resolutions. In your workflow when downloading to your computer you will offload all of your content faster.

Q: 8. Do these work with the Nikon D500?

A: Yes. And will take full advantage of the buffer rates of the camera.

Q: 9. Will these work with 4K recording modes on the Canon R6?

A: Yes.

Q: 10. Es compatible con Canon Rebel T7?

A: Yes, this Prograde 64GB SDXC UHS-II memory card is compatible with the Canon EOS T7.

I have several SanDisk UHS II cards for my R6 camera and they have worked great. To maintain top performance with high speed mechanical shutter, I will swap out the battery when it gets around 50% charge. With the R6 having 2 batteries, I usually do not write to both cards so when my primary gets low I can swap to the second card and when convenient replace the first card.

I have SanDisk cards for photo and video. These cards are monsters. the 128GB cards give me 2H 28m shooting 4K. I went back and forth between these and the 64GB versions but figured I would go with the bigger cards to get the extra room and not have to think about space when on a shoot. I got two of these cards and always happy with SanDisk.

As an amateur photographer and professional software developer, I have used memory cards from the earliest (smallest & slowest) to the newest and fastest as the technology progressed. But I have always used SanDisk. I have never had a Sandisk memory card failure for any type of card, Compact flash, SD, or micro SD in a camera, phone, music recorder or player, or being used to move data around from devices to computers.
I've only used this new card for one large shoot on my Canon R5 so far, but I don't expect it will ever give me any trouble based on past experience.
