I am very satisfied with the purchase of this SSD! Price is very competitive. Read and Write speed are as advertised (I did not do any scientific test). I am using it with my ASUS TUF A15 as a secondary drive for my games library and it is working flawlessly so far. 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had gotten a nice deal on a budget 15 inch Acer laptop last Thanksgiving although it came with only 256GB SSD. I thought that little storage would not be an issue since I was going to use the laptop mainly for browsing and emails. However, I fell in love with the laptop and I started using it more (storing photos / downloading movies for watching on plane). My laptop needed more hard drive space and an upgrade to 500GB SSD from Western Digital solved all my issues The actual upgrade is simple and there are lot of Youtube videos that explain this step. If you do not have hard drive enclosure I would recommend getting one before you start. The entire process took me close to 2 hours. The new WD Blue SN570 NVMe™ SSD was a perfect fit for my laptop. I have noticed increase in laptop performance and have not run into any issues as such. Great replacement SSD. 5
