Thread the Diffuser M27 from Ikelite onto the front of their Gamma Waterproof LED Flashlight and other dive lights with M27 (27 mm) mounts, in order to soften and spread out the beam. This reduces the harshness of the light to prevent backscatter, glare, and hard shadows, while also giving you greater coverage. The diffuser's material is designed to allow for high light transmission and a smooth beam.

It's a simple little addition to the light source. Can't do much wrong with a piece of moulded plastic, but wondering if it may lead to an overheating issue if used for an extended period of time. The quick attachment magnets are a nice touch. 5
