Related Questions and Answers

Q: 2. whats the developing process on this film for d-76 1+1??

A: The Film Photography Project Basic Black and White Negative Film (620 Roll Film) should be developed with Kodak D76 1+1 at 68 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.

Q: 3. If I wanted to use Tmax developer, what is the timing?

A: Film Photography Project does not recommend Tmax developer for this film. Instead they recommend these 3: FPP D96 68° Fahrenheit 7 minutes Kodak D76 68° Fahrenheit 6 minutes. Kodak Xtol (1+1) 14:00 minutes @ 68 Fahrenheit.

Q: 5. Undeveloped Yeti is distinctly yellow in color. Other undeveloped BW films have a green or blue tine. What accounts for the various colors? With Yeti specifically and BW in general? Is it the anti-halation backing or the emulsion?

A: The distinctly yellow color of undeveloped Film Photography Project Yeti B&W Negative Film is due in part to its emulsion and it being a orthochromatic film. Other B&W films may have a green or blue tone when undeveloped as they would be panochromatic.

Love this new film, especially for the price! I am enjoying cutting my teeth with it.
I would recommend for anyone looking to get some experience with panchromatic. Develops very easily in a tray, and in half the time of Shanghai gp3.

This is a good, classic emulsion with a decent amount of silver. Nice, medium-fine grain, excellent sharpness. Works very well with D-76, D-23, and HC110 which all give good contrast. Also got some good results with Diafine. The base has a slight curl.
