This Duo LCD Charger from Watson restores power to one or two EN-EL14 / EN-EL14A batteries via the included, dedicated plates. These can be replaced by optional plates for various other batteries. Additionally, the Duo can simultaneously charge two different batteries with different voltages. Charging time is between two and six hours. The unit also features a USB 2.0 port, which allows you to charge and power a mobile device while your camera batteries are being replenished. The LCD screen displays each battery's charge percentage--even when the Duo is unplugged--via the test button.

Running on 100-240 VAC power, the Duo can be used all over the world. It includes a power cord with a 2-prong North American plug, as well as a 12 VDC car charger that plugs into a cigarette lighter.

A: No, the Watson EN-EL15c Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7V, 2250mAh) is not compatible with Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 2. Can complaints about the battery-holder-plates being insecure be solved with tape or gaffers tape applied to the side and bottom of the plates??? Is it feasible to secure them in some manner like this???

A: I have not been able to solve this problem by placing tape or cardboard underneath the plates.

Q: 3. Would this work with the Nikon Z7II? I tried to use the Watson EN-EL15/b and you get an incompatibility error - firmware probably. The latter battery does work with the Nikon D7100.

A: Yes, this, the C version, is for use with the latest Nikon mirrorless cameras including the Z6II and Z7II.

Q: 4. if I am in a remote location with an external power source, can the usb be used to connect to the power source to charge the battery?

A: No - the available power sources to charge batteries on the Watson charger are mains power or cigarette lighter - the USB on the device is for output only to change tablet/mobile phone.

A: It takes about 45 min. No difference if one or two batteries. Also nice to see the meter % charge.

A: The 12-Volt adapter cable is the standard cigarette lighter size, it will not plug directly into the 8mm plug on your Nomad 7, it will however plug into the 12-Volt adapter included with your nomad 7.

I have 3 Nikon cameras and each one uses different batteries. For three of them there is an adapter plate for the Watson charger so instead of carrying 3 chargers on a trip, I take one charger with 2 different plates mounted + the third plate. An important feature is that it actually charges two batteries at the same time and not one after the other like for example the Nikon mh-26, which also takes two batteries. This saves charging time. You can also connect a standard USB cable to it and charge for example you phone. What does not work very well is the battery testing with an unplugged charger - it shows a lot less charge than the camera battery display. 5

The best things about it are the primary reasons I use it. When unplugged, I use it to test the batteries. When plugged, it charges both batteries rather quick, AND i can charge my phone or any other device that uses a usb charger at the same time. Charge batteries and/or devices at home or on the go with the included DC cable for your car. Although not the smallest device, certainty VERY light. I highly recommend this product. 5

Ordered from the UK as Dual chargers are scare or really expensive. This was a decent price point, arrived in the promised time limit, considering it was coming from the USA. Feels well built So really pleased with my purchase 5

I shoot weddings, and this charger is perfect! My dead EN-EL14A batteries are charged long before I have to change out, and I'm shooting video almost constantly on my D5100. I also love the car charger adapter. I also appreciate the detailed battery info readout. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. 5

More than was expected. The charger tests the batteries as well as charges them fairly quickly. Interchangeable plates allow me to use this for other batteries if i get the plates for them. Very nice charger, very happy with my purchase. 5

What is great about it:1) It seems to be well-built. It feels even more substantial than the charger for my Nikon D5200. And yet, it isn't very heavy at all.2) It charges two batteries at the same time, and does it almost twice as fast as the Nikon charger!3) The display is easy to read, and being able to see how the percentage charge is very useful for me- especially in an emergency situation where I need to throw the battery with the most charge in the camera and charge the others.4) It has its own plug- one of the nuisances of my Nikon charger is that it takes up so much room on a power stripThings that are not so great:- None so far, except maybe the price. If it were $$I would own two. 5
