Quick and easy to set up, the CAD WX55 Digital Wireless Microphone System offers clear wireless digital audio for presenters, performers, and educators. The system includes a bodypack transmitter with a headset that's comfortable to wear and a plug-in receiver with QuickMic connection into your mixing board via an integrated 1/4" jack.

You can be ready to go in no time: just turn on the system and the transmitter scans 16 switchable frequencies to locate a clean RF channel that's free from interference. The transmitter automatically pairs with the receiver, which simply plugs into an open channel on your audio mixer. Operate the bodypack up to 8 hours on two AA batteries and the receiver up to 2 hours on its built-in rechargeable battery. The receiver can also operate for numerous hours on a USB power pack or indefinitely, if you have access to AC.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I pair two receivers with a single transmitter? I want one receiver at the front of the room for the PA, and the other near the rear of the room for the video camera so I don't have to run cables.

A: We have not tested the Samson XPD2 wireless system using two receivers. It may not work so well since the receiver is built into a USB stick and needs to be powered by USB, which isn't a good option for use with a camera and you could have delay with the audio going to the camera. If you do need to send the audio from the PA to the camera wirelessly, you may want to use a separate wireless system that accepts line level input signal like the Wi Digital Wi AudioStream Pro AV Portable Digital Wireless Lavalier System (B&H # WIASPAV). We do have other options if you want to use a different wireless mic system with a headset mic and two receivers. Please contact our pro audio department by phone or through live chat on the website and we can assist you to find the best option for your needs.

Q: 2. Is there a more discrete microphone that can be used with this?

A: Yes, you can use a headset or lavalier microphone that is wired for use with a Sennheiser transmitter such as the Galaxy Audio HSM3 Dual-Ear Headset Microphone with 4 Cables (B&H # GAHS3OBG4MXD) or Samson DE10x Omnidirectional Miniature Headset Microphone for Wireless Transmitters (B&H # SADE10X). Both the Galaxy Audio and Samson mics include four detachable adapter cables with the following connectors: locking 3.5mm, Hirose 4-pin, TA3F, and TA4F. The cables with locking 3.5mm connectors are compatible for use with Sennheiser transmitters. These are just two examples. We do have other options. Q: 3. Is it possible to use a speaker for a live program while simultaneously capturing audio for a live stream?

A: Yes. The receiver has a headphone output jack, that could be connected to a speaker, tho it is low level and would require additional amplification.. Receiver Maximum Audio Output Level Analog 9 dBu Headphone Output 22 mW into 16 or 32 Ohms Operating Voltage 5 VDC

Q: 4. Will this unit work with a digital camera?

A: The Nady DW-22 HTLT Digital Wireless Microphone System has the potential to work with a digital camera, but compatibility would largely be influenced by the capabilities and specifications of the camera. The camera should have an audio input jack capable of receiving an external audio input, and the set would need the proper cables to connect the two units together.

Q: 5. Would this connect to the JVC GY-HM250 or other camcorder?

A: The Samson XPD2 Headset USB Digital Wireless System was not intended for use with a camera, but it can be adapted to work. The receiver for the XPD2 System requires USB bus power, so it will need to be connected to a USB wall charger or a USB power bank, like you would use to charge a smartphone, and the output from the receiver's 3.5mm headphone jack can be connected to an audio input on the camera using a standard aux cable like the Kopul CMX-RC30 Right-Angle Coiled Stereo Mini Cable (B&H # KOCMXRC30B).

Q: 6. When connected via USB, is this mic selectable as an audio source in video software like OBS, Vmix, or Wirecast?

A: You would be able to select this as a source in live stream software.

Q: 7. The lapel mic on this unit stopped working. What other microphones would work with the transmitters of this unit?

A: You may consider the Azden EX-503 Lavalier Microphone, BH #AZEX503.

Q: 8. Hi! I've started to live stream my fitness classes using zoom. Would this be a mic be a good option for me to use while coaching? Thank you! And is it easy to set up :)

A: Yes it would be good for a fitness application and yes it is easy to set up.

Q: 9. When using the headphone out is there any latency?

A: There should not be any noticeable latency when using the headphone output on the Samson XPD2 Headset USB Digital Wireless Microphone System.

Q: 10. What are the choices of frequencies. Already have 915.30 aand 916.80?

A: The entire DW-22 series are 900mHz: https://bhpho.to/3gpl5Qh
