Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What happened to the Archival Methods Metal Frame Kits? They were the best!!

A: I'm sorry, we stock many varieties of metal frames, but we don't have Archival Methods metal frame kits.

Q: 2. how many pages will the cartridges print on Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000???

A: No way to answer this question. Depends on so many things. Paper, sizes, color, B&W, graphics, photos, head cleaning rituals - to name a few.

Q: 3. Does this product have a shelf life, an expiration date?

A: From the time that the ink in the Canon PFI-1000 LUCIA PRO 12 Ink Tank Set are first opened, they will have a shelf life of around 2 years.

Q: 4. how many prints per a cartridge?

Q: 7. Can I print on this with my Epson800? Looking for archival thin paper for collage.

A: The Archival Methods Thin Paper 45 gsm Roll is not compatible with printers.

Q: 8. What is the difference between the buffered and unbuffered Archival Methods tissue?

A: Buffered tissue has a buffering agent (usually calcium carbonate) added to the paper pulp during the paper making process to increase the pH level of the paper and make it more alkaline. By increasing the pH of the paper, it becomes non-acidic, and assists in neutralizing other acids in the environment that may make the paper or tissue become acidic over time. As acids can destroy photographic prints over time, buffered paper is preferred for most photographic prints. Un-buffered paper is paper that has not been altered, and is typically recommended for archival storage of protein-based materials, which are often materials that come from animals, such as leather, wool, silk, feathers, horsehair, pearls, etc., but can also include cyanotype prints and blueprints to prevent them from fading.

Q: 9. Is this a sulfur free tissue and is there a specific tape to hold sheets together with this tissue?

A: The Archival Methods Un-Buffered Archival Tissue Paper has a Sulfur content with a maximum of 0.0004 . We don’t recommend adhesive tape for holding the sheets together.

Q: 10. Is it under universal voltage that I can use in Asia, including Hong Kong and China?

A: No this supports 100 to 120 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz for compatibility in North America only.

I make fine art prints and I ship them. I need a tissue to put between the prints - and to protect them while shipping. i have purchased big sheets from several companies and they are a pain to store and to handle.

Now I have a 40 inch roll on the wall. I put up a roll holder with a cutter assembly - and now I have 1,000 feet of tissue at the ready.

This was a good find -- thanks B&H...

I am a professional photographer and also running a printing lab. This tissue is essential for every printing work, providing soft protection from dust while drying and protection from any possible scratch. -Also great value. It will take very long to run out.

I've been buying this for years from Archival Methods. The price from B&H is the same but I save shipping and, because of the Payboo card, the tax.
