I've been using my Solis for about a year now-both in the US and abroad, and I've got to say, I love it! Great connectivity, easy to use, and reliable.

I travel quite a bit and I’m tired of having to buy a separate SIM card and have my phone unlocked every time I switch phones so I settled for skyroam.

The device is not perfect and the quality is not the most durable, however it also depends how an individual handles their electronic gadgets. The reason I gave it a 5 is because based on the service they gave me I believe they’ll keep improving.

I’ve recently just got back from my two week road trip from FR through Switzerland and IT. The device worked for me for the most part. Stopped working for brief periods in situations like changing borders, changing signals. I’ve also noticed when you plug it in to charge sometimes the signal drops.

I like that it shows on the app whether you’re on a 4G or 3G network. Works perfect for keeping google maps updated through out the long drives and Spotify playing at the same time.

With that said, could use updates on the firmware for faster load up and Avoid unnecessary signal drops.

I bought a couple of the original versions before our trip to Rome and London. I had a little trouble getting started in using it so I messaged them on Favebook messenger and to my surprise, they messaged me back within 15 mins. Within about 10 mins after that I was on my way. It worked great. I have used it in Rome, London, MX, Honduras, Cayman Islands, and Jamaica and all with no problems. When the new version came out, I knew I was going to buy it. I guess when I heard it was new, more portable and a charger, I assumed it would be more compact but it’s not as compact as I hoped for but it worked just as great as before. My son borrowed it to make a large download on his xbox and he had no problems. They make it easy to buy more days and add it to the unit. Now if they could just figure out how to make it useable on a cruise ship, they’d make a fortune and control the market.

We purchased the Skyroam for our trip to Europe. It has been a
Godsend, we are in a mobile home and as we were driving we had a wifi hotspot with us so we could use our google maps to get us to our destination. We could watch movies, FaceTime our friends back In CA, keep up with our emails. Thank you thank you. Recommend to every traveller.

I have had a Skyroam for over 5 years ....travel to SE Asia every year ...I would not leave home without it !! It works every time and in areas where WiFi signals are weak ...indispensable ! Highly recommend for travelers...and if you have questions or problems which are few ...customer service is great ...they do what they say they will do ...Jay helped me promptly and I am extremely happy !

As a full time solo traveler and travel blogger, it's essential that I always have wifi wherever I am in the world. With Skyroam, I don't have to depend on hotels or cafes to get connected; I can work from anywhere, and constantly keep in touch with my friends, family, and fans! Im always on the go for work and this thing has been a life saver. The internet connects almost everywhere I go and it is extremely reliable. Since its bright orange everyone always asks about it, not sure if thats a positive but it sure is a conversation starter. Would highly recommend, it has made life so much easier for me.

This thing is ready right out of the box and easy to use. I'm in a rural area with spotty coverage, and so far I have had very little problem getting signal. The customer service is outstanding. A real human who actually wants to help you, 24/7. I'm also a sucker for good branding and packaging. I know it's not important to some, but I loved unboxing this device. The "cool" factor with quality to back it up.

Just can't say enough great things about my Skyroam Solis. I had been looking at this for quite some time and finally decided to purchase it for travelling to JP. Used it for the first time in Tokyo everywhere with no problems. Speed was fast and the ability to charge my phone was invaluable. Needed to use Google Map constantly 12-16 hours per day and never lost my Solis wifi connection even in the Tokyo train and subway stations. The battery life was excellent even when I had to charge my phone.
If you travel, this is a must have. It's an excellent product.

Purchased Skyroam for our travels in Europe. The connectivity has always been fast. Recently had upgraded to a monthly program. Mike was very helpful and demonstrated great customer service by addressing my questions and concerns. He kept me abreast of his findings and had me back on-line in moments. In this day and age of connectivity, you just can't travel abroad without this pocket size personal WiFI. Great Job!
