Q: 10. Can this be used with the 15L Zip backpack?

A: We spoke with Peak Design to confirm, and received a response from them regarding the Hip Belt and the 15L Everyday Zip. It will not actually sit low enough and typically sit at the waist rather than comfortably at the hips.

I have used Domke Bags for over 30 years. They are very rugged and well made. I was looking for a bag for my Leica X1 and this fit the bill. Camera fits great and there is room for a small flash and flash cards.

Like all the Domke bags, this is quite sturdy, made of heavy canvas. Appears to be very well made, as usual. Nice size if you just have a few items. Some complain about Domke bags like this one, because there is a noisy, velcro'd outer flap that takes some effort to open, and then a zipper underneath to finally access the bag interior. You don't have to use the zipper, I often don't when I'm shooting. I bought it to travel with in Europe, where I wanted the extra security of a two-step opening to thwart easy theft.... and the thick canvas and heavy duty strap are not easily cut. So if that's a concern for you, the Domkes are a good choice. It's not so cheap for being so small, however.

I just purchased this bag to complement my F-803 satchel, which I use for most assignments. I'm a working photojournalist and I like to travel light. I bought this bag for a very specific purpose, to carry one Leica M rangefinder camera and one extra lens and/or extra film. I often carry my larger domke when shooting events or more serious work, but when I'm walking around exploring a place or doing street photography, often I just need one camera, maybe an extra lens and a place to keep extra rolls of film. Sometimes a bag isn't needed, but it's nice to have a place to put the camera if the weather turns foul or if I need to enter a place where I don't want to show off my camera. This bag is perfect for my purposes. It's a great bag for pro shooters using small gear wanting to be discrete and travel very light. It can hold a Leica MP with a lens mounted and another lens, with some room left over for film, and not much else. I love the velcro flap combined with the interior zipper closure, which should make the bag fairly pilfer-proof. My one complaint is the large red domke tag on the front flap, since I didn't want the bag to look like a camera bag. Fortunately, it's nothing that couldn't be fixed with 30 seconds and a sharp pair of scissors. It's a wonderful little bag, and judging by the longevity of my 803, which I've had for over ten years and which has been all over the world, I'm sure it will hold up well.

I'm using this bag as all around carriage for my stuff when not shooting (including the small umbrella) and a photo bag for standart form-factor TLR when I'm doing business. Its wear and weather resistant, the build quality is very good.

I bought this bag for my Nikon Coolpix 950. The camera fits fine in the lens-down position even with the lens hood attached. The only trick is to fold in the zipper edges while inserting the lens and then pulling the edges around the camera to zip it closed. A spare battery and lens cloth fit fine in the front pockets. I also have a camera strap folded on the right side of the camera.

This is my second of these small Domke camera bags. I use mine to carry an Olympus PEN-F with a 14-150 zoom and a 25mm prime lens as a walking around kit. I bought the second bag because my wife wanted it to use as a handbag. It is the perfect size for her wallet, cell phone, keys, etc. It's weather resistant, and comfortable to carry with its wide shoulder strap.

It's a nice bag. It fits my SLR and an extra lens plus a couple accessories in the small front pockets like an extra battery, memory card, and small card reader. The buckles are made of metal which is nice and less likely to break. It's a great compact shoulder bag for when you're walking around town, hiking, etc. The only thing I don't like is that the front pockets don't have any zippers but the flap covers them up nicely. And I wish it had a couple more small pockets.
