This is being used to connect a laptop to a usb extender via cat cable. THe cable does not interfere in process. i was a little concerned that 6' might be too long and the signal might not reach but i was wrong and everything works fine. its simple design, no gold platting and no fancy relief points. for the price its a great cable. 5
