Took about 10 minutes for the first one to learn everything and 2 minutes or less each after that. I had no previous experience programming radios, so it was easy for a beginner. There are no selectable frequencies, since MURS only uses 5 FCC-approved frequencies. You can select privacy bands for each channel in the CPS software, however. All other settings (mic gain/button function/tone/vox/etc.) were also selected by drop down menus in the web-app.
