The included Arca-Swiss plate makes the unit very versatile. I personally use it with a RRS BH-55 ballhead; attaching the Oben rail via the included plate. 5

This is exactly what I needed. You are able to move the camera ever so slightly and I am able to produce images to stack and 4.5x and f2 with no issues. There is no slippage from the rail at all, it is held firmly in place. The only thing that i wish this had was a wider grip for the mount. I use a manfrotto tripod and would like to not have to swap out my mount things in order to take photos with the rail, however this is just a small complaint in an otherwise perfect product. 5

I have wanted a Macro Focus rail for quite some time, so when I saw this one on sale, I figured I would give it a try. I plan to use it to enhance my macro work and to also try focus stacking. After reading other reviews about the device having a tripod screw interface rather than an Arca Swiss interface I was a bit unsure it that would work for me. But I had a spare plate that easily attached to the rail, so it would mount right to my Markin's @)L ball head. But it got even better, because I was able to use the supplied plate on the top of the unit on my bellows focusing attachment that did not have a plate. All my other phot gear already has attached plates. So no additional money had to be spent. The rail adjustments work smoothly and the unit is well made. The ability to move the rail in 2 planes is a big plus. The unit comes with a tool set for adjusting and disassembling the rail into 2 pieces, a nice touch. In summary this is an affordable, well made focusing rail, that I have no problem recommending. 5

I use it on my Manfrotto 055 and it holds everything in sharp focus. I have used with a 105 macro + extension tubes and see little movement when adjusting. 5

I do both garden and studio photography. Both my studio and garden photograph just got significantly easier. The left to right adjustments lets me center things with ease. No more picking up the tripod. Being able to focus in and out smoothly and precisely means no more nearly spot on macro. I'm 71 with shaky hands. Now I can shoot like i used to. Money well spent. 5

Works great for the price. My camera is stable and there is no slippage in less than horizontal orientations. I used it quite successfully for focus stacking as well. 5
