The Galaxy Trek GTU Mini UHF Wireless Microphone System with 1 Headset Mic (B: 524.5 to 594.5 MHz) provides an easy-to-use audio system that allows a single performer or presenter to roam hands-free onstage. The system operates at a range of up to 160' and the components automatically sync to the same UHF frequency when they are powered up. Simply plug the receiver into the 1/4" input jack on your powered speaker or PA system and you're ready to go; a 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter is provided for mini-jack inputs.

The headset microphone plugs into the 3.5mm jack on the bodypack transmitter, which runs on two AA batteries. The receiver is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and a USB charging cable is provided. Power and pairing LEDs show you the system is synchronized and working. The system offers 6 hours of operating time. Since the receiver is dual channel, when you're ready to expand to a two-person system, simply pick up a second transmitter (handheld or bodypack with lav or headset mic) in the A frequency band and you're ready to go.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. If I had 2 of these systems, could I transmit to 2 receivers like a smart phone and tablet in different physical locations at the same time with 1 microphone and transmitter?

A: You can send audio to two different locations using two separate wireless systems (receiver + transmitter = system), but you can not use one transmitter to send audio to two different receivers.

Q: 2. Can I use it on a computer (Apple)?

A: Yes the Galaxy Audio GT-V Trek Series will work with your computer.

Q: 3. Can you use this mic with an amp?

A: Yes. The Galaxy Audio GT-V Trek Series - Battery-Powered, Compact Wireless Microphone System (Lavalier) BH #GAGTVX may be connected to an amplifier via the included1/8" to 1/4" Adapter and an appropriate cable.

Q: 4. Can you say if this will work with iphone or ipad to deliver audio for native video or facebook lives?

A: Yes it works. I have created numerous videos with the mic.

Q: 5. Will this work with a Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone? If not, which option is the best to achieve a pro-quality audio with that device? (both wired and wireless)

A: It might. You would need to actually try it out. We have not tested this with all smartphones. Samsung can be tricky.

Q: 6. Will the Sennheiser ME 2-II Omni Lav mic work with this pack?

A: Yes it will.

Q: 7. I have a zoom h4n... how can I connect the R and L separated channels from the reciever to each XLR plug (R and L respectively) of my Zoom recorder?

A: You can use the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1443723-REG/saramonic_sr_um10_cc1_locking_3_5mm_male_to.html

Q: 8. My video cam has 2 xlr inputs. Can I feed the two mics to separate channels with a mini-2xlr splitter?

A: You can use the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 3.5mm TRS to Two XLR Male Output Y-Cable for Wireless Mic Systems (B&H# SASRUM10CC1) to send the receiver's output signal to both XLR inputs on your video camera. The receiver sends a single signal with the combined output of both mics so you will have the same combined signal with the audio from both mics going to both input channels on the camera. The receiver only provides a combined output and does not separate the signals of the individual mics.

Q: 9. Is the mic cable interchangeable? For instance, if you need a replacement if the original goes bad or to swap the lav mic for a headset or instrument?

A: No. The mic is affixed "permanently" to the transmitter and is not removable.

Q: 10. Would this work for singing?

A: Probably not as well as it does for speaking.
