General
CompatibilityPolymotion Chat Pro Software
License1 x License for Additional Head/Camera Control

Corporate events, live events, lecture halls, and houses of worship.

Using limb and face detection software Polymotion Chat tracks subject movements and provides stable and natural-looking content. The camera-agnostic automated subject tracking system is available for multiple broadcast and capture scenarios with three different available solutions.

Polymotion Chat's computer vision engine detects limbs and builds a stick model to enable it to track subjects. This not only means the camera tracking system creates high-quality broadcast-level output without losing resolution, but it is also more reliable than other facial tracking solutions and can deal with occlusion, such as people crossing in front of each other.

Polymotion Chat is an open system and was designed to work with MRMC's own pan

and tilt heads. It also works with just about any IP PTZ camera such as cameras from Panasonic, Sony, and Birddog, with support for NDI and VISCA-over-IP control protocols.

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel i9, AMD Ryzen 7, or equivalent
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX1080 or greater (GPU must be NVIDIA to support CUDA)
  • RAM: 32GB

The Polymotion Chat solution is also compatible with a separately available 1 RU Polymotion hardware server (which supports up to three automated tracking heads) or a 2 RU Polymotion server (which supports up to six heads). Simply use your existing cameras, PTZs, or one of MRMC's robotic heads and connect. One operator has full control of Polymotion Chat with the option of having a remote client solution.

Im very impressed with this camera, I got it with the 23mm 1.4 and it's a killer combo, I shoot weddings and couples for the most part with my trusted nikon gear, and needed a little camera to go on vacations etc. Im glad I went with this one.

I was looking for an upgrade to the focus system of my X-T20. I specifically wanted an interchangeable system that was lightweight for travel photography and the occasional street shot if I didn't bring my Ricoh.

I went from the X-T3 to this - and many would think I'm insane to give up some of the wonderful traits of the X-T3! First of all, I'm not a video shooter. I just wanted superb quality images in a lightweight system. No need for all the extras either.

Many complaints of the x-t30 center around the small size, the, tripod plate mounting hole being in awkward position and one memory card slot. My X-T20, my first Fuji camera and the one that brought me 50% of my portfolio images, is a similar handling so I was already used to these disadvantages.

Secondly, most reviews I read were written by men who complained primarily of the ergonomics of this camera. I looked high and low across multiple forums and across so many YouTube videos and not one female ever wrote a review of this camera that I could see and very few reviews were written by men with small hands. Had there been more reviews written by petite women, I would likely have bought it sooner.

Ergonomics aside, this is a great lightweight system that delivers beautiful images. I use the pull out screen for discreet shooting on the streets. It does everything I need and more and my file sizes are not outrageous.

If you're into travel or street, this should be a very strong contender on your shopping list.
