A: I use this with an A7R and several Mamiya lenses, they work great. Just remember auto focus and auto aperture do not work, you must use manual mode. You can use aperture priority mode if you want the camera to set both ISO and Shutter speed. Use Peaking Level to assist with focus, may need to keep the aperture open to get light to focus. Also set Zebra on to help with exposure. Fit of the adapter to both lens and body has been snug with no movement or wiggle. I plan to add several more used Mamiya lenses

A: It works perfectly of my FS5 so I would say it will work perfectly on a FS7. :-) Naturally only with manual focus and manual iris.

A: Hi Dave,I did some tests on the A7R; A-900; Nikon D700. As you know - all of these are FF. The Mamiya 645 with this adapter covers approx. 156% of the sensor. You will experience ZERO light fall-off, even when fully stopped down (at highest f-stop). Mamiya 645 lenses are fantastic - so enjoy - it opens up a totally new world of excellence. If I may - just one word of sound advice. Due to the resolving power of the lens, and the high pixel density of the sensor, I advise that ALL shots with 645 lenses are done using a sturdy tripod. Even at high speeds, getting a pin sharp photo is VERY challenging. During 2015, I've done approx. 12000 shots with my 645's, with in excess of 90% on tripod. A: You can use the FotodioX Adapter for Hasselblad V Lens to Sony NEX Camera to mount your lenses from both the 500 and 200 cameras onto the a7/R. The 500, 200, and 2000 cameras are all considered part of Hasselblads V system, and share the same mount and register.

Q: 10. I bought this adapter. It came without any instructions about how to mount the Hasselblad lenses. The mounting of Hasselblad lenses to Hasselblad cameras must be done in a certain way. They must be cocked before removing them and so forth, or a jam can occur. So what is the order of mounting and how does it behave with the Sony camera? I do not wish to jam the lens and or camera and some directions for using this are really needed. In the absence of instructions, I may need to return it.Thank you.

A: A Hasselblad lens (with a leaf shutter) cannot be safely removed or reattached without being cocked . In this state, the leaf shutter is open for focusing or in this case photographing on a mirrorless camera. While the adapter does not require the shutter being cocked, you will need it in this state to shoot with and remount back onto a Hasselblad body without risking jamming. Use of this adapter will not trip the shutter on the Hasselblad lens as you are using the shutter in-camera to make an exposure.
