Ideal for stealth tactical engagement or hog hunting, the AGM Wolverine-4 NL2 Gen 2 Level 2 Night Vision Riflescope puts a power NV device on your rifle and gives you the confidence to take that critical shot on even the darkest nights.

The Wolverine is outfitted with a 2nd generation image intensifier tube to offer high-resolution images. A huge advancement from Gen 1, Gen 2 tubes offer longer useful ranges than earlier tubes, with better resolution, cleaner and brighter images, and lower susceptibility to blooming and distortion. The tube condition is designated as Level 2: The user may see some spots on the peripheral of the view, but the center will be clear. This version of the Wolverine has a fixed 4x magnification, making it ideal for mid-range applications, with the ability to reach out further if you need it to. Its 1/4 MOA impact point correction and wide 120 MOA windage and elevation range are adjusted via capped low-profile turrets. A simple crosshair reticle has an illuminated center cross for precise shot placement. The center cross intensity can be adjusted to match your preference or the mission at hand.

The housing is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy with a scratch-resistant matte black anodized finish. Tethered caps for the objective lens, battery compartment, and turrets ensure they won't get lost while accessing the functions and features of the scope. A short rail at the 3 o'clock position on the housing accepts the included Sioux850 illuminator to extend the scope's effective range without taking up additional rail space on your weapon. Mounting the Wolverine is easy using the integrated Picatinny/Weaver rail mount with dual quick release throw levers for repeatable installation without the need to re-zero. The housing is water and fog resistant, and with its broad operating temperature range you can operate in weather from as cold as -40°F to a sweltering 122°F with confidence.

To ensure clear and bright views at long distances, AGM includes the Sioux850 long-range IR illuminator that can be held like a conventional hand-held flashlight or mounted on the Wolverine's accessory rail. The light is powered by an included 18650 rechargeable battery with a battery cradle charger.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this Lens made in Germany?

A: The country of origin information is not yet posted in our system. Once the lens arrives into inventory, that type of information will become available. I am very confident however that the lens is manufactured in Germany. Once the lens arrives into stock, feel free to ask us again and we will be able to confirm then. - Yossi

Q: 2. Can the lens hood be reverse mounted on the lens for storage like classic Zeiss ZF.2 / ZE primes, or does the hood have to forever be either on or off the lens?

A: Yes, the lens hood is easily reversed and locks into place folded over the lens body. That's how I store it in my carry case. By the way, this is an astonishing lens. It is every bit as good as the 1.4 Leica lenses I used for many years, and it and the Zeiss 85 are why I have been able to move to Nikon bodies.

Q: 3. Does the lens have an aperture ring or is that controlled from the camera body?

A: While you can control the aperture of the Zeiss 55mm f/1.4 Otus Distagon T* Lens for Nikon F Mount on the camera body, the lens does feature an manual aperture ring which allows you to manually control the aperture on older SLR and DSLR cameras.

Q: 4. does this unit has to plug in the AC power to work?

A: Yes, the Glyph Technologies 7.6TB Blackbox Plus U.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 External SSD needs to be connected to AC power to work.

Q: 5. Does it show visible breathing?

A: The ZEISS Otus lenses show minimal signs of breathing when used for motion capture.

Q: 6. Any body out there has used it with a Nikon Z7 ?

A: This lens would work very well when attached to the Z7 via the FTZ adapter.

Q: 7. I am planning on putting this in the OWC Express 4M2, BUT that has PCIe G3n 3 NOT Gen4, so what does this do to the thruput?

A: You can use the PNY 2TB CS2140 M.2 PCIe Gen 4 x4 NVMe Internal SSD BH #PNCS21402TB in a PCIe Gen 3 device it will just work at the slower speeds of PCIe Gen 3.

Q: 8. Does this lens have hard stops?

A: Yes the lens does have hard stops and you can use the aperture ring manually if you so choose; however, there is also an option to de-click the aperture ring using a tiny tool that is included with the lens. It is very simple to do. So if you are shooting video or you just prefer to not have hard stops than you can use the lens this way. If you prefer hard stops it can do that too! Best of both worlds
