You will experience ZERO light fall-off, even when fully stopped down (at highest f-stop). Mamiya 645 lenses are fantastic - so enjoy - it opens up a totally new world of excellence. If I may - just one word of sound advice. Due to the resolving power of the lens, and the high pixel density of the sensor, I advise that ALL shots with 645 lenses are done using a sturdy tripod. Even at high speeds, getting a pin sharp photo is VERY challenging. During 2015, I've done approx. 12000 shots with my 645's, with in excess of 90% on tripod.
