Vienna Symphonic Library SYNCHRON-ized Cornett Crossgrade from VI Historic Winds II Virtual Instrument is available to registered users of VI Historic Winds II. It offers a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the authentic sound of a cornett (or zink, not to be confused with the trumpet-like cornet). Based on the VI Historic Winds II collection, the library was reedited and optimized for the included Synchron Player, increasing both the flexibility and ease of use of all articulations for a quick and creative workflow and realistic cornett performances—ideal for film and game scoring, trailer music, or sound design.

The library features a full set of articulations on par with the instruments of SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds, offering various short and long notes, legato, repetitions legato, portato, staccato, and more.

The cornett was recorded in the tightly controlled ambience of Vienna's purpose-built Silent Stage and virtually placed on the large Stage A of Synchron Stage Vienna using the Synchron Player's integrated convolution reverb technology. Mixer presets place the instrument in its perfect spot onstage, resulting in a production-ready sound out of the box that blends seamlessly with the instruments of SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds as well as with every other product in the Synchron Series.

A: Since the M?VI Pro has not yet been released it has yet to be specifically tested with the FS7 so we are not yet sure if it will work. We can tell you that the camera cage for the M?VI Pro will be slightly smaller than the camera cage for the M15, B&H #FR95000028, and the M15 is the system Freefly recommends for the FS7. While the FS7 may be too large we are confident that the FS5 will work on the M?VI Pro. Please keep an eye on this page for updates and new information as it becomes available.
