Q: 2. What real world wifi speeds are you all seeing with these WAPs? I have gigabit internet that runs about 800-900mb/s on all the wired devices, but only see between 70-120mb/s when on the AC wifi using Luxul WAP-1510's.

A: We've seen up to 400mbs on these. However a typical wi-fi AC connection depends on the device, distance, interference, etc. Real world for us is 120-180mbs for most devices.

Q: 3. Does the 5 pack come with POE adapter?

A: No. The 5-pack doesn't include any PoE injectors. Only single access point packages include them.I use Ubiquiti's switches to provide power over Ethernet instead of using injectors.Make sure to choose the right switch. Some APs require non-standard passive 24 Volt power. Not all Ubiquiti support it, last I checked. I think they have an 8-port or a 16-port that does.

Q: 4. This unit has two network ports. Can each be plugged into a different network and have an SSID that connects to a specific port?

A: No it supports only data pass through for the same network.

A: A POE+ switch is not required.Per the quick start, any 802.3af/802.3at PoE+ compliant switch.The UAP-AC-PRO uses standard 48V POE, so any compliant switch will work - as is what you have stated that you have.It's the non-PRO versions that don't use standard POE.

Q: 7. We installed one unit in the guest bedroom and the neon glows a bit much, can we cover the unit with material to dim the glow?

A: Hi! Rather than physically covering the unit, you may want to consider simply disabling the built in LED. To do this (using the desktop UniFi controller software): Login to the UniFi controller -- Select Settings (Gear icon) --Select Site -- Uncheck the option to enable the status LED -- Select Apply Changes. Please note that this applies to all of the access points you manage (unless you have set-up multiple sites); if you have more than one access point, all of their LEDs will be disabled. If you are using the mobile application to manage your device(s), the ability to disable the LED is coming in a future update. As for physically covering the unit, I suppose you could do so with minimal effects (depending on the material), but I would strongly suggest disabling the LED over covering the unit. The last thing you want is to adversely affect the signal emitted from the device.

Q: 8. Can you re-use the ceiling mount from the UAP-AC-Pro?

A: This is accurate. The PoE adaptor comes with the single units. The multipacks do not come with any PoE adaptors.FYI: You will need still a cat5e or cat6 patch cable to go between the PoE and the AP.
