Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use a PoE Injector to power this AP?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Access Point can be powered via PoE injector. The Ubiquiti Networks U-POE-AT PoE+ Adapter (BH #UBUPOEAT • MFR #U-POE-AT) is the recommended injector to use as a power supply for the U6 Enterprise AP.

Q: 2. The Overview lists the passive PoE adapter as being included in the box, but the In the box section doesn't mention the passive PoE adapter. Is it, in fact, included with this item?

A: Per user's guide:Gigabit PoE* (48V, 0.5A) with Mount BracketIts not the inline adapter.

Q: 3. We installed one unit in the guest bedroom and the neon glows a bit much, can we cover the unit with material to dim the glow?

A: Hi! Rather than physically covering the unit, you may want to consider simply disabling the built in LED. To do this (using the desktop UniFi controller software): Login to the UniFi controller -- Select Settings (Gear icon) --Select Site -- Uncheck the option to enable the status LED -- Select Apply Changes. Please note that this applies to all of the access points you manage (unless you have set-up multiple sites); if you have more than one access point, all of their LEDs will be disabled. If you are using the mobile application to manage your device(s), the ability to disable the LED is coming in a future update. As for physically covering the unit, I suppose you could do so with minimal effects (depending on the material), but I would strongly suggest disabling the LED over covering the unit. The last thing you want is to adversely affect the signal emitted from the device.

Q: 4. My Ubiquiti is installed as a router, creating a second network in addition to my main router. How do I eliminate the second router & reconfigure as a passthrough connection?

A: The product you are mentioning above is an access point. It can only offer an point for wireless access. We suggest you call us that we can ascertain your situation.

Q: 5. What real world wifi speeds are you all seeing with these WAPs? I have gigabit internet that runs about 800-900mb/s on all the wired devices, but only see between 70-120mb/s when on the AC wifi using Luxul WAP-1510's.

A: We've seen up to 400mbs on these. However a typical wi-fi AC connection depends on the device, distance, interference, etc. Real world for us is 120-180mbs for most devices.

Q: 6. Does this AP have a WebUI or does it need a Wireless controller to be managed?

A: Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 Enterprise Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band Access Point requires a UniFi Network Application to be installed on a server or computer locally in order to facilitate online management of the device.

Q: 7. When used in conjunction with the dream machine pro, will this access point support 5 computers and 5 smartphones on wifi? They are all used in a smallish apartment.

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UAP-AC-LITE UniFi Access Point Enterprise Wi-Fi System BH #UBUAPACLITE is capable of handling 10+ devices no problem. The maximum is 200 clients.

Q: 8. Will you supply an Australian power supply cord with this?

A: No. This is a (US) model. There are international UAPs. Also, please note that since this is 802.11af POE compliant, any decent POE switch can power it.

Q: 9. The BH listing shows this includes 5 Pieces but I only see three pieces. What am I missing?

A: Included in the box are 5 access points.

Q: 10. Is the POE+ spec really required to make this run off of a POE switch? The wattage of this unit is within both the per-port and overall wattage of my existing POE (non POE+) switch. Just wondering if I need to upgrade my switch first.

A: A POE+ switch is not required.Per the quick start, any 802.3af/802.3at PoE+ compliant switch. The UAP-AC-PRO uses standard 48V POE, so any compliant switch will work - as is what you have stated that you have. It's the non-PRO versions that don't use standard POE.

Unlike online auctions where you buy an applecare package and get an electronic version that is in fact not legitimate this is the actual box, and certificate. If I need to transfer the applecare to another owner there will be no issues, or hassle for proof of purchase as I have had in the past with online auctions applecare purchases. Thanks B&H, you have made a new loyal customer.

Purchased applecare for my 13 macbook pro. The price was the lowest (from a reputable source) I could find and much cheaper than ...retail. ... registration of my product with the box was smooth. Will not hesitate to purchase anything from them again.

I haven't yet had experience to use Apple Care, but I'm familiar through my parents use. It not only came in handy and solved some problems for them, you have the option of getting support over the phone or going directly into a store where they sometimes can help you right on the spot.

Today's students live by their electronic devices. Terms papers, contacts, music, pictures are all kept on their laptops. Have had my daughter's laptop repaired enough that the charges exceeded the purchase of a new one. Also, Apple's turn-around time is excellent. Do yourself a favor.

I received the complete box for the AppleCare for my MacBook Pro within 2 days of purchase. The online registration went smoothly & better yet it was $100 less than the Apple Store. I could not find a better price from a dealer I felt was reputable.
