The Fotodiox Mamiya ZE Pro Lens Adapter for Micro Four Thirds Cameras is a high quality adapter that allows you to mount a Mamiya ZE mount lens to a Micro Four Thirds camera body. It features a brass construction with a stainless steel finish as well as the ability to focus to infinity. This works with a leaf spring system for a secure attachment.

This adapter will not allow for electronic control over lens functions. In order to function with automatic metering you will need to place the camera in manual or aperture priority mode, where the camera will utilize stop-down metering to determine the appropriate shutter speed.

Q: 1. I am a little confused on some of the answers for the Can this adapter also be used with EF-S lenses as well as EF? I would like to know if it will work on a Panasonic GH4 with a Canon EF-S Zoom Lens 17-55mm - F/2.8. Please don't answer this question if you don't know. Thanks in advance!

A: This adapter can be used with both EF and EF-S lenses on the Panasonic GH4.

Q: 2. I have Contax N mount Vario -Sonar lens 28 to 80 will this work on Olympus OMD Micro 4/3 ?.beutifull lens shame not to make us of it . It also as macro range to 1 to 1 as far as can guess .

A: The adapter I have is loose on the camera. Ive had the same problem before. You can use it but be aware that it may not be a tight fit.

Q: 3. If a Leica lens is mounted on a Panasonic m4/3 camera with an adapter like this, will focus peaking work to assist focusing?

A: Yes, focus peaking will work (at least it does on my G85).

Q: 4. What does this do to the focal length of a lens? If it were half an inch thick I would guess that it adds roughly 13 mm to the focal length (moving the glass further away from the sensor), will this make a wide shot with a MFT even more difficult?

A: No it bring it closer to the real lens length since the sensor is much smaller

Q: 5. The FotodioX Mamiya ZE Pro Lens Adapter with Aperture Control for Nikon F-Mount Cameras also serves the CS series Mamiya NC1000s?

A: This adapter is not compatible with the Mamiya NC1000S. This adapter is meant to mount Mamiya ZE lenses on a Nikon F mount camera.

Q: 6. Can this adapter also be used with EF-S lenses as well as EF?

A: Only EF.

Q: 7. Is there an adapter for a Sony e mount lens to be used on an Olympus m4/3 camera?

A: Unfortunately, B&H does not carry an adapter that would enable one to mount an E-mount lens onto a micro four thirds camera, nor am I aware of one existing on the market. The Sony E-mount has a shorter flange focal distance (register) than the micro four thirds mount, so the Sony E-mount lenses are designed to sit closer to the sensor than the micro four thirds mount will allow. So, mounting an E-mount lens onto a micro four thirds body, the lens would lose infinity focus (the ability to focus on objects in the distance).

Q: 8. will this work on a panasonic gh2 and voightlander 40mm f 1.4?

A: Yes.

Q: 9. what is the difference between B&H # FOPMFTANG43 $159.95 and Nikon G pro lens blue ring adapter less than $60 for Micro four third camera. will both can be deliver the same for gh4

A: The difference would be that the Excell+1 (more expensive adapter) has light focusing optics that adjust the crop factor by 0.72x, changing the original crop factor from 2x to only 1.4x. The optics also have the benefit of increasing the maximum aperture by 1 stop, taking an f/1.4 lens down to f/1.0 for example. Both would be compatible with the GH4.

Q: 10. is this better for ef lenes with gh4/ and explaine me its crope effact

A: Yes, the FotodioX Canon EF pro Lens Adapter with Built-In Iris Control for Micro Four Thirds Cameras is a great option for an adapter to use with the Panasonic GH4. There is no crop factor on this adapter.
