The image quality and yrue to print color makes a world of difference when post editing. Now I can edit according to what my printer will reproduce. Also, the lack of glare is fantastic. Looks like looking at a luster paper type screen. I do some graphic work and am constantly taking cell phone pics of the screen in order to send quick drafts to clients, this screen allows you to take quality pics of the screen which almost look like a saved file, I love it.

The BenQ is a great monitor and the calibrating software works really well with good instructions. It is a big investment but worth every cent!

I use a Mac Studio for all my photo work. I had a pair of really nice NEC photo monitors, but they were 10+ years old and showing their age. I wanted to upgrade from a 26 to 32 inch monitor and after a ton of research went with the BenQ SW321c. OMG, what a difference! I purchased mine with the calibration device, as my original one was also about 10 years old. I could not believe how easy calibration was and the final results. I also could not believe how easy it was to edit and print my photos. The monitor comes with a puck, so the calibration can be instantly changed based on the intended use of the image (screen, print, B&W, etc); incredible. So after about a year and a half struggling with an NEC on one side and the BenQ on the other, I pulled the trigger and purchased a second. Before I made the purchase I contacted BenQ to see if I could buy just the panel and not all the other stuff that comes with it (light blocker, stand, cables etc), but they don't offer it that way. I might suggest B&H consider getting a bespoke consignment of monitor-only BenQ panels for folks like me that will be mounting the monitor on swing arms and don't need all the other stuff. I bet the customer-base for this monitor is similar to me, in that many have multiple monitors and are semi-professional or professionals. I hate dumping all that stuff in a landfill, so hopefully these comments will prompt B&H to put together a multi-monitor package for people like me.

This is my 2nd BenQ Photo Editing monitor and as with the first, this is an excellent monitor. From packaging to performance to customer service, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

It is always hard to review a sophisticated specialty item, because the value is so much a function of what you need and expect from a product. First of all, the images are spectacular. 4K and adobe color space brings images alive. Several people have remarked upon comparing a framed print (Epson stylus pro 9880 on premium lustre) that the print looks boring compared to the screen. One client remarked that looking at the screen was like looking through a window. That being said, do you really NEED this monitor? It is primarily useful for large print production, because that is about all that uses the full Adobe color space. To get the right results you need to match the monitor to your actual computer output, so plan on buying or borrowing a decent colorimeter ($300 plus). Next, to match to your printer, you need one the four (only!) specific printers that are currently supported by the software. I am not replacing my printer until it dies, so the benefit I get is a target to aim for from my printer. I certainly don't want my clients to see the screen and expect the print to be as good, which is the opposite of the way it used to be. The cost of the monitor is in line with the performance, so I would say pricey, but it delivers. Value depends on how much $2000 means to you. From a purely mechanical standpoint, the product is great... solid steel stand, easy rotation to vertical and BenQ's good glare-resistant screen. Negatives are that two glare shields come with it, but you have to choose vertical or horizontal format (why not a four-sided shield?) and the almost universal tech complaint of a truly inadequate manual. Fortunately, the shield is hardly needed even in my bright gallery and who reads instructions anyway?

I have been using an NEC PA272W wide gamut monitor (27) for the past several years and loved that monitor. I decided to try a larger monitor with 4K resolution and settled on the BenQ SW321C. No regrets. The larger size monitor made an immediate impression. I kept both monitors side-by-side for a few days until I was satisfied that then BenQ was up to expectations. There is no going back to a 27 monitor for me. Second, the resolution is a small step up from the NEC. Not as huge as I expected, but definitely noticeable even with the larger size. The gamut on the BenQ seems to be a bit better than the former NEC is well. Calibrating with the BenQ Palette Master software with my Xrite i1 Display Pro was a piece of cake. I am running Windows 11 and had no glitches. Windows automatically used the newly calibrated profile in the display settings. I also am now a huge fan of EASILY switching between adobe RGB and sRGB profiles. I shoot and print most of my work in Adobe RGB. However, being able to switch to sRGB, wither with the buttons on the monitor or the Hotkey Puck, is very easy and useful. For what this monitor offers and at the price, well I'm pretty happy.

HUGE difference working with this monitor and standard monitors with Photoshop. Price is steep, and hopefully will come down soon.
Calibration is easy. YES, I would recommend this monitor.

I am really happy with this monitor after using it for over a month.
The matte finish does a great job eliminating glare with or without the shade hood. The shade hood is a nice included add-on. The consistent edge to edge, very sharp, even color image is the best I've seen on any monitor.

I moved from using a 27 iMac to using this monitor with an M1 Macbook and it's working great.

I am really enjoying seeing and editing my photos on such a large monitor. But it's also great for day to day computer use and even watching videos. It's really easy on the eyes.

I have no regrets at all with my purchase.

FYI - As some reviewers have noted, it comes very well protected in a large long box which is best handled by two people, which may be why for some unexplained reason Fedex made me come to a local facility to pick it up instead of delivering it to my house.

At first it kept failing the calibration verification but changing the connection from HDMI to DisplayPort fixed the problem.
It's huge! I guess that's to be expected of a 30 monitor. It looks spectatcular!

I read many customer reviews on BenQ monitors, and the negative ones were almost enough to scare me away, but I purchased the SW321C 32 inch monitor on the basis of professional reviews on line and on YouTube. I've used it for two weeks and have found it to be working as advertised. One concern was dead pixels, but I have found none on careful examination. I was also concerned that the screen size would not match up well with my 27 inch monitor, making it awkward to use both, but they are both easy to use side by side. I was able to easily adjust the text size so that they would match on both monitors, which was another concern. I've never seen a box that was so intricate and so well made used to protect a product shipped to me, if that's any indication of the care the company has put into making and protecting this monitor. I'm very happy with it.
