The DNA 5050 Professional Camera Stabilizer from Glide Gear is a handheld stabilizer made for DSLR or video cameras between 2-7 lb. It is designed to keep your camera free from hand shake and vibrations while also keeping it stable and balanced for a smooth floating-camera appearance in your videos. The three-axis gimbal joint allows you to move in all directions while the camera maintains its balance.

An easy release camera plate allows you to attach and remove the camera without the use of tools. For balancing the camera horizontally, the plate’s control knobs can adjust the mount forward, backward, and side to side. The vertical balance is obtained by adjusting the height of the telescoping center post and by changing the amount of weight on the base platform. A: This Vest and Arm kit is designed to work with the Glide Gear DNA line of stabilizers, such as the DNA 5050. However people have modified it for use with other stabilizers that have a hollow spot on the gimbal handle. I am sorry to say that we do not sell Flycam products, so we would not be able to confirm if it will or will not work.

A: Currently B&H does not offer the Glide Gear DNA 6000 Video Camera Vest & Arm for Crane 2 / DJI Ronin S Gimbals.

Q: 9. would a go pro be too light for this ? I'm shooting on a 7D as well and i'd like to be able to use both

A: As is, it probably would be too light to operate effectively since stabilizers are all about balance. However, since I have seen professional Steadicam operators add weight to the camera to help get the springs in the arm to perform in their sweet spot, you might consider adding weight to the camera end of this rig. That could balance with the bottom weight. That might work.
