I live in New England and this year we received a record snowfall. Everything everywhere was bright white. I shoot a good deal of pictures in the woods and purchased the filter to cut down on the glare and add some degree of saturation. Quite frankly my purchase was based solely on price. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the lens and the resulting photos. 5

I use the polarizing filter to make blue skies darker and cut down reflections off of green vegetation. It rotates smoothly with no slop and does the job. Images details seem just as sharp with the filter as without. I like it. 5
