The DNA 6000 Stabilization System with Vest, Arm & Gimbal Adapter from Glide Gear allows you to get smooth, floating camera movements when shooting with any Glide Gear DNA or Glidecam stabilizer. The DNA 6000 System is also compatible with any gimbal with a 1/4"-20 base like the Zhiyun-Tech Crane 2 and the DJI Ronin-S.

Designed to support rigs from 6 up to 13 pounds, the system works by isolating the camera from your body's motion, keeping it in a balanced state. This lets you to walk, run, climb stairs, and go over uneven terrain, all while keeping your shots level and free from shakes. The system features a vest and arm and comes included with a carrying case.

The vest has an adjustable chest plate and straps for easy fitting to a variety of body sizes. The padded strapping features double stitching with an easy two clip harness system, letting you quickly put on and remove of the system. The dual swing arm has adjustable tension knobs and can be mounted on either side of the vest so you can use your left or right handed for guidance. A GIM 100 Gimbal Adapter and a padded carrying case are included with the system.

Q: 2. So you are advising us if we own a Steady Cam solo not to buy this Vest and Arm? BEST ANSWER: This arm and vest kit is made for the DNA line of Glide Gear stabilizers. You might be able to use other systems with it, however we do not advise it. The DNA 5050 would work very well on this unit.

A: For for Steadicam-type stabilizers, we suggest keeping the vest, arms and sleds in the family since they are all meant to work together. This is easier for those operators starting out. Now historically, the Steadicam, the invention of a tinkerer, has always engendered mixing and matching and moding. If you wish to do so, you are of course free to do what you wish. However, since the permutations are endless, we cannot vouch for the efficacy of what ever combination you are considering.

Q: 3. Will the arm pin fit the Steadicam Steadimate-S Gimbal Collar & Base?

A: Not that we are aware of. This product is not compatible with the Steadimate-S.

A: Yes, it will work with DJI RS2.

A: Yes you can. This system fits any gimbal with a 1/4"-20 base which includes the DJI Ronin-S.

Q: 6. Will this work with a fairly light rig? I have a Crane 2 and a Pani WFX1 with a small balance weight on the gimbal. I'm sort of upgrade proofing but find even my current rig too heavy for any lenth of time, plus I want rid of the walking wobble ;O)

A: This arm and vest kit works with a set up between 6 to 13 pounds. You will need to weigh out the various components you have to see if they will properly balance. I can tell you that the Crane 2 is the kind of gimbal stabilizer this product is aimed at using and it already weighs close to 3 pounds by itself. So it should be possible.

Q: 7. Some versions of this vest (B00EQBUDU6) include an adapter and small ball head so they can be used with a Ronin-S and Zyhun Crane or similar. Does this version of the product come with that adapter?

A: Currently B&H does not offer the Glide Gear DNA 6000 Video Camera Vest & Arm for Crane 2 / DJI Ronin S Gimbals.

Q: 8. I have a Ronin-M, would this vest and arm work with the Steadimate adapter?

A: I'm afraid not. The Steadimate Adapter is designed to work with Steadicam Arm and Vest systems. If you do not have a vest and arm from Steadicam we suggest purchasing the Steadicam Steadimate 15 Support System, B&H # STSDM15, which is a great option for the Ronin-M.

Q: 9. My chest is 46 diameter with this vest fit?

A: Yes I am 250lbs and I wear extra large shirts.This Vest is a real LIFE SAVER!!!! Use it with my Sony FS100U and it works extremely well. A must by if you are using a hand held stabilizer.
