The FotodioX Pro Canon EF Lens to Samsung NX-Mount Camera Adapter with Tripod Mount is a high quality adapter that allows you to mount a Canon EF mount lens to a Samsung NX camera body. It features a brass construction with a stainless steel finish as well as the ability to focus to infinity. This works with a leaf spring system for a secure attachment of the lens to the adapter. Additionally, this adapter features a tripod mount for security when using larger lenses.

A: Adapter works as advertised on an NX1. I use it with Tamron 70-300mm because of the lack of long zooms for nx mount. Aperture Tip: To pre-set aperture: Mount lens on Canon camera, turn camera on, set aperture, press AND HOLD depth of preview button, then unmount lens without unpressing depth of preview button and f stop should hold. However, the metering is often inaccurate the smaller a aperture, so use your histogram and double check your photo afterward, adjust with exposure comp or just shoot full manual.

A: The Canon EOS-Mount Lens to Canon EOS M-Mount Camera adapter would be for adapting Canon EF/EF-S lenses onto Canons M Mirrorless cameras. This adapter would not let you use EF-S lenses on a full frame camera. Im not aware of an adapter on the market that would allow you to mount EF-S lenses on a full frame camera such as the 5D. Even if you were to find one, the image circle of an EF-S lens will not cover the entire sensor.

Feels solid, can use my EF lenses on my new NX1 for VIDEO! ...and can even get critical focus on NX1 by throwing in Vid MODE and touching icon on screen. Although the F stop is stuck on (example: Sigma 18-35 1.8f) 1.8...it still is great to be able to use. Such a small price to pay for solid adapter! Just buy it. 5

I was able to change the f-stop by using a different camera and removing the lens while still at the desired setting. It's sturdy and perfect for my nx500. 5

First bought a more expensive Polaroid adapter from @ and had to returned it bc of a no lens error. This adapter has no errors and fits we'll on the NX1.No a af but focus assist makes things pretty easy. 5

Product fits perfectly, and Cannon EF lenses mount with just as good of a fit as if Samsung made it. Until Samsung has a more diversified lens selection this is a great addition to your tool box to be able to get some different lens use. I highly recommend buying this and renting lenses from a rental retailer. 5

This adapter is cheap, good quality, simple to use and works as expected. It comes in a small cardboard type packaging with no instructions. All you need to do is to insert the adapter in the camera mount the same way you would with a lens, and twist it until it locks in place. Then you mount the lens in the adapter the same way you would if it would be mounted directly in the camera body. To remove the lens, you simply press the button shaped thing on the side of the adapter towards the camera body, this will unlock the lens so you can twist it and remove it. I'm using it with a Rokinon / Samyang 35mm f1.4 canon lens and a Samsung NX1, so I can manually control both focus and aperture from the lens. You can't be in auto mode to use the lens with this adapter otherwise you'll get a check lens error (since the camera has no way of knowing there is actually a lens attached). 5
