using this drive to archive files off our main server system. works as advertised. good thu put off the servers through the ethernet, but best on the computer controlling the server RAID. 5

Seems best to start Windows first and then plug USB in to avoid error RECOGNITION. Only have had for 2 weeks, hopefully it won't have issues later. Using the Original packaging to store it for now, but it deserves a proper case. Maybe next month. Storing and accessing media for DVD burner, no problems. 5

Great, reliable product. It was delivered quickly. I definitely recommend buying from B&H. I was tempted to buy from Amazon, but I've stopped buying electronics or computer products there as I've had many of those things break after one use. The hard drive is basically bullet proof, and noticeably sturdier than anything else. I have like four of them for various projects, and now I can't go back to anything flimsier. I feel like I can crush other hard drives if I look at it wrong. It's a bit expensive, but if you're already paying for Adobe CC every month as are most photographers, and can therefore include the savings from the free month voucher, then this hard drive effectively costs about as much as those cheaper, flimsier models I mentioned earlier. So it's basically a no brained to get this. 5
