This Variable ND Filter from K&F Concept is a 67mm variable neutral density filter providing adjustable light reduction from 5 to 9 stops. This multi-coated filter reduces the entry of light and does not affect the coloration of the image. Allowing greater control for long exposure and motion blur techniques in changing light, it is possible to create a dynamic look for waterfalls, landscapes, and more. The filter's slim design reduces possible vignetting, and the K&F peak technology avoids images with inconvenient x cross. Made of optical glass combined with an aluminum alloy frame, this filter is also green film anti-reflection, waterproof, and oil and scratch resistant.

A: While the Meike Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF to EOS-R with Variable ND Filter could not be secured, you would have to secure the lens itself.

The K&F Concept 52mm Nano-X HD Variable ND2-32 Fader Waterproof & Scratch-Resistant Filter has a 52mm mounting thread for mounting on the front of a lens but the front of the filter has 55mm threads for using a 55mm cap or other filters. Therefore it is too large to fit into a 52mm drop in holder.

Q: 10. Is the outer-edge threaded?. If so, what size?

A: There does not appear to be any sort of screw for mounting another lens on the front of this one.
