Q: 1. the 1.4x is to adjust for moving the length of the lense correct? i see a lot of huff saying the adaptor is adding a crop factor to their lenses but i thought it was an adjustment. i do believe there will be some light loss as well. is that correct?
A: The 1.4x lens is to achieve infinity focus and there is a 1.4x crop factor on a full frame camera. You will lose about 1-2 stops of light.
Q: 2. Why am I unable to fire the shutter on a Fuji X-Pro2 with this adapter and a 50mm Minolta MC macro lens?

Q: 3. Is there an adapter that allows connecting Canon EF lenses to Minolta SR body? I have a Minolta bellows that I would love to connect to my Canon 7D II. I guess I could use my existing Minolta lenses with it, but I have newer Canon lenses I would prefer to use.

Q: 6. I have a vintage Minolta SRT 101 camera with a boatload of Minolta lenses. Is there an adaptor I can purchase to make them useable on a Cannon EOS Rebel T1 camera?

Q: 7. Came with zero documentation. Description says can remove corrector lens, but w/o exact instruction on how I wont. SO HOW? Or am I missing paperwork?
A: To remove the magnifying glass from the Fotodiox mount adapters, first one needs a marcofiber cloth or a lens tissue. With protective material, grip the glass firmly in one hand, and the adapter edge with the other hand. Then one needs to rotate the adapter clockwise, while holding the glass still. The ring has quite a few threads so it may take many turns before the magnifying glass separates from the adapter. Be careful because the magnifying glass consists of 3 sections. Put the parts in a safe place, because one may be interesting in putting the adapter back together again.
Q: 8. Why am I unable to fire the shutter on my X-Pro2 with this adapter and a 50mm Minolta MC macro lens?
