A: I don't have the H6, just the N4 Zoom. The Mic on the 4 is not detachable, therefore this would not work with that setup. If you have a Mic like the Lav Mic that Rode puts out for which this extension is made, you can wire it into the input port on the Zoom, and you're in business. Mono only, however.

Q: 9. If I bought a splitter and plugged two of these in would my iPhone record the audio from both?

A: Into one channel yes. The RDE SC6 is the adaptor we make that gives you two inputs and also a headphone out for using the smartlav.

I used this adapter to connect a Polsen SCL-1075 Camera Mount Condenser Shotgun Microphone to a Samsung Galaxy S5, and it works fine. I really like the 90-degree plug, and the quality seems great. Only wish is that I had found an adapter with an additional female output for headphones to be used simultaneously with a mic. 5

I purchased this to connect my Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro to my iPhone SE (2020) and it worked perfectly. I can confirm that this is also compatible with the Apple Lightening to 3.5mm adapter as well. That is how I connect it to my phone. 5

product was recieved very quickly in a very safe box with losts of padding. havent got to use it quite yet but its supposed to work well with the Rode IOS app. 5

Had the chance to use this. What can I say? I used this with a Rode Videomic Pro+ and it works great. Without a mic, the sound from an iphone video has a tinny sound. Not with this. The sound was a lot cleaner. 5

It's is so simple, you just plug the mic into the adapter and the adapter into the device. That's how simple it really is. No flaws or buzzing it works fine. Though do be careful, not to misplace it. The cable is tiny. 5
