Designed as an easy-to-use solution for gaming, streaming, and recording, the JBL Quantum Stream is a versatile USB microphone that offers high-resolution recording, a removable RGB stand, and two pickup pattern choices. Choose the omnidirectional setting to record in a 360° circle around the mic—great for picking up multiple people—or opt for the cardioid pattern to focus audio capture more narrowly on the subject for less background sound.

The Quantum Stream supports impressive recording resolutions up to 24-bit / 96 kHz for high-quality digital audio. Plug-and-play operation via the USB connector and a convenient mute button make the mic simple to use, while the 3.5mm headphone jack allows you to monitor your audio in real time. An indenting front-panel knob controls the headphone volume; pressing it allows you to adjust the mic input gain and switch between pickup patterns. The included RGB desktop stand is especially well suited to gaming, but can be removed to reveal a standard 5/8" threading that lets you mount the mic to boom arms and floor stands.

Always come through loud and clear. The Quantum Stream’s dual 14mm electret condenser capsules and high 96 kHz sampling rate capture every sound for perfect voice streaming.

With the JBL Quantum Stream's two voice pickup patterns, you can easily switch between a

cardioid mic that makes a single voice come through loud and clear and an omnidirectional mic for capturing more than one voice or even a live performance.

Mount your microphone however you want, to suit any space or situation. Three setting options and a reversible stand allow you to move the JBL Quantum Stream 360 degrees, connect it to a camera tripod, attach it to a boom arm, and more.

Monitor your mic voice your way. Conveniently control your PC volume directly from your

headphones, from the microphone, or from your PC.

Mute or unmute with the tap of a button. An RGB ring indicator light confirms your status, so you'll always know when you can be heard.

Stylish and sturdy, the JBL Quantum Stream is crafted with an aluminum stand, metal ring, and iron net for a premium look and enhanced stability during use.

JBL QuantumENGINE PC-based software extends your experience beyond gaming, allowing you to

adjust features like voice EQ, RGB color on the ring indicator, muting and unmuting the mic, and polar pattern selection.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will it work with hp elitebook? Thank you

A: The connector is designed to work with MacBook laptops.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the new Apple 13.6" M2 Macbook Air? I understand some docking stations block the MagSafe charging port. If not, can you suggest an alternative?

A: It is possible that there may be enough clearance, however without the exact dimensions of the host connectors we cannot say for sure. To avoid risking blocking the MagSafe port, I would recommend a single-connection hub/dock such as BH #EZX40030.

Q: 3. Can I use this microphone with my Iphone 10 with the lightining to usb converter for zoom calls ?

A: No. According to Apple, external microphones will not work with iPhones for video calls or conferencing apps like Zoom or FaceTime and only the built-in mic will work for those types of apps. External mics can be used with the iPhone for recording audio with video and for regular audio calls. Additionally, the UC4-B was designed for use with a computer and it will work for Zoom video calls with a computer. The mic would probably work for recording audio on the iPhone with the Lightning to USB adapter, though it would drain the phone's battery very quickly because it draws power via USB and more power than the iPhone can supply. iPhones were not designed for use with this type of mic.

Q: 4. Is this appliance voltage 220V

A: Yes. It runs anywhere between 100v and 240v.

Q: 5. Would this mic work ok for streaming? I'd like to not have the mic on screen and be able to move my head a little. Also would it pick up a lot of the speaker audio? I don't want to use headphones if I can get away with it.

A: I can't imagine a problem with streaming. As for picking up your monitor audio, that's a bit tricky to answer without seeing your recording space. I'm guessing that some noise reduction to reduce your monitor audio bouncing back and having the monitors behind the mic should result in a clean sound without picking up the monitors... but this would be true for any mic that's not omnidirectional. We use this mic at about 3 feet from two people talking and it's awesome... we don't use the monitor. If money's not a limiting factor, this mic also has different heads that support different patterns..

Q: 6. Could I use separate usb c power supply instead of mac usb c port?

A: The SMK-Link USB-C Dual 4K Multi-Stream 12-in-1 Mini-Docking Station does not support external power.

Q: 7. Can I use this with Dragon Dictate?

A: Yes. This will work with Dragon Dictate.

Q: 8. its phantom power required? I would like to put ii on top my DSLR to get interior speeches or dialogs.

A: It needs a XLR connection (cable). I use it with a Zoom H6 and synchronize in post.

Q: 9. How long is the cable?

A: The JBL Tune 310C USB-C Earbuds with Microphone (Black) is 4 feet long.

Q: 10. can this be used with dragon dictate?

A: Yes. This will work with Dragon Dictate software.
