Mount your Nikon F lens to your Micro Four Thirds camera with this T Adapter III from Metabones. Precision-crafted from brass with chromium plating, this adapter is designed for daily use and offers infinity focus. This model has a flocked interior that will limit flaring and ghosting from reflections inside the adapter, and a satin exterior finish matches that of most cameras for a unified appearance. Additionally, it has a detachable Arca-type compatible tripod foot for simple mounting to a variety of tripods.

This adapter allows you to mount your Nikon F lens on your Micro Four Thirds camera, but it does not support automatic functions such as autofocus and electronic aperture control.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work with the Z-Cam E2C?

A: Yes, the Z Cam E2C has an MFT mount. This adapter should work with that camera.

Q: 2. Do the numbers on the adapter correspond to the lens accurate f stops?

A: No they don't. When the Metabones adapter is installed, it overrides whatever f-stop you might set on the lens. In other words the Metabones adapter takes complete control of aperture. The numbers on the adapter range from F (for full wide open, I guess) through 1-6 to 7 which is fully stopped down. One can guess that halfway through the range from F to 7 might correspond with a mid-range lens aperture of about f8 or so, depending on the aperture range of the lens one is working with.

Q: 3. Will this work with Cooke lenses that have a rotating barrel?

A: Yes, this Adapts Arriflex Standard Lenses to Micro Four Thirds Cameras This is an adapter for lenses with the older Arriflex Standard mount, NOT the Arri B (Bayonet) or Arri PL mount.

Q: 4. I have lenses for my Panasonic gh4 and I am buying a Canon ef blackmagic. I have scoured the Internet for a converter that would work for this. No luck. Any leads?

Q: 5. Can i use a Panchro lens with a bmpcc 4k with this adapter?

Q: 6. Dose this adapter work with Panasonic GH5 camera ?

A: I used the device with a gh 4 and it worked perfectly. I see nonreason it wont work with a Gh 5. Remember to open the aperture to its widest setting when you focus.

Q: 7. what are similar alternatives to this product?

A: Unfortunately we do not have any other Arriflex Standard Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapters. This would be the only one we carry.

Q: 8. Does this work with the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K?

A: The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K has an MFT mount. This adapter should work well with that camera.

Q: 9. so basically the lens turns into a manual apperture, that is cool but:Does the metering in the camera still working ok when adapting a lense?does it has any quality lose while using the adapter?what about when taking still pictures? Does the shutter speed still working properly?

A: The metabones prevents the camera from communicating with the lens.So no, the camera doesn't tell you the aperture reading and will always read as 0. Therefore, you always have to use other means (zebras) to not over expose. You also can't achieve a desired aperture to control DOF (such as 2.8) because, again, the camera can't report the aperture.I haven't taken still pictures so I'm not sure how this affects that mode.

Q: 10. Hi! I pretend to use this adapter on a g7 Panasonic with the lenses: 10-24 DX, 70-300VR, 50mm 1.8D and 24mm 2.8. Will focus and maximum aperture work perfectly with all those lenses? Is there some restrictions? Will the minimum focus work, as well to infinite? Thanks!

A: Hi, i use the adapter in 2 versions for BMCC and BMPCC with sigma zoom. It works perfectly
