Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is the date of expire ?

A: B&H buys and sells batteries in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh stock. All of our batteries at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our batteries prior to purchase.

Q: 2. is this the same thickness as "oak-tag"? Is it thinner than 1/8" mat board?

A: Archival Methods Acid-Free Card Stock (24 x 36", 50-Pack, White) is 290gsm 14 point card stock (similar to a standard postcard). It is much thinner than the 1/8 inch mat board.

Q: 3. can you use a lithium battery as a subsistute ?

A: Unfortunately, I am not quite sure with which item you would be using the lithium battery as a substitute, as you did not list the brand/model of the item in which you are interested in using lithium batteries in your inquiry. As such, the best answer I may provide is it would depend on the specific device in question. I would recommend either checking your device's instruction manual or contact the manufacturer to inquire if your device may use lithium batteries. While the above Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries are physically the same AA size as standard LR6 AA alkaline batteries and rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, some devices cannot use lithium batteries, and lithium batteries may not be recommended for certain devices due to the heat they produce during usage. Many digital cameras and flashes state in their instruction manuals not to use lithium batteries, though some do state it is okay. As your answer is device-specific and no device was listed, as previously stated, I can only recommend to check your device's instruction manual or contact the manufacturer with your model number for assistance with your inquiry.

Q: 4. what aa batteries do you advise for thermal imager its hungry on them/?

A: Read your instructions. Some items such as many camera flash units say to not use Lithium batteries. Make sure your instruction do not prohibit, while some cameras say to not use Ni-Cad. If you must use alkaline batteries, try Duracell Procell. They are very good and often less expensive when purchased in bulk to many others.

Q: 5. Are these for the Older ECM44 or for the smaller ECM 44b?

A: This is made for compatibility with the Sony ECM-44 & ECM44B models.

Q: 6. Will these work with the newer, smaller ECM44b?

A: This is made for compatibility with the ECM-44 & ECM-44B models.

Q: 7. Are the Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries rechargeable? If yes, please advise charger type, model No, etc...

A: These batteries are not rechargeable. If they were, they would be listed as such.

Q: 8. can you use a lithium batery in place of a carbon battery?

A: Isn't carbon battery the old standard one? In any case, the lithium replaces any AA battery you can find on the market. I use it to power underwater flash unit. It is expensive but last for a long time. I heard that many photographers use it to power their flash units.

Q: 9. Will these clips work with the Sony ecm 44b mic? Thanks.

A: Unfortunately, they will not fit the 44bs. The ECM 77bs are thinner. The 44s are 14.5 mm diameter of the capsule, the 77s are 5.6 mm.

Q: 10. Could this clip be used on the Westone IEM I just purchased from you to secure the IEM cable to a shirt?

A: These clips are made to support cables between .8 and 2mm thick. Westone unfortunately does not provide any specific information on the thickness of their cables.

These are really small, suitable for things like USB cables. The velcro-like strip secures against itself and seems pretty secure for how small it is.

Cable ties of this length are best suited for wall wort cables, or equivalent. They are valuable for that purpose. They are too short for guitar or mic cables.
