The 2TB PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT from SanDisk Professional is a premium, portable SSD for ultra-fast workflow scalability. It features a 20 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface that drives read and write speeds up to 2000 MB/s. The USB-C interface also allows users to make a direct connection to their compatible camera rig for longer takes and faster offload times. The PRO-BLADE TRANSPORT receives bus power via USB and keeps cool using an integrated aluminum heat sink. To further protect your data, this SSD can withstand drops from up to 9.8' on a carpeted concrete floor and has a crush resistance of up to 4000 pounds. This is a great little device and easy to use. It is highly portable and works great with a reader for the device. I also have the main hub system installed on my Mac at home. Is it any videos. Also, when I get a camera that will allow for external recording, this will be attached to the camera for quick video taking. I set a It's expensive, but easy to use! 5

I'm finding the PRO-BLADE STATION with it's proprietary BLADEs impressive. It's efficient, speedy, quiet and meets my data storage requirements. For Windows 11 users, you'll need to initialize each PRO-Blade SSD Magazine in Disk Management at first. Once set up and formatted, you're all set. I own a 1TB BLADE and use it as my cache scratch disk during graphics editing, a 4TB as a backup disk to my C: system drive and a second 4TB for data. Recommended. 5

Recently purchased a Blade SSD and the mobile transport. Was so impressed I purchased a few more, plus the desktop pro reader, and sold all my unopened Samsung T7 Shield SSD’s. Those are good and slightly less expensive, but these Sandisk Blades are incredibly fast at reading and writing and the tiny form factor makes storing a pile of them much more space efficient. I just hope they decide to make the “sale” price the permanent price. At around $300 for a 4TB SSD they are a bargain. Time is money, too. What used to take a few minutes to archive is now down to several seconds. Over the course of a day that makes a difference. 5

I was worried about the speed of these drives, but using them has proved me wrong. They are fast, small, and durable. I only wish they fit into the case a little more snugly. It is snug and has never fallen out, but not snug enough for my tastes. I bought another 2TB Blade and plan on buying more as my needs require. 5

I keep buying these. They are fast. I haven't had a problem with any of mine and I use the heck out of them. Great system. Only gripe is that the pro-blade station that you put these in is loud. But that is a separate review. 5

I do 4K/8k raw video editing on a MacBook Pro M3 max, plugged one of these on a Usb-C port and achieve a 1Go transfer rate. I love it. 5

The announcement of the Pro-Blade came precisely when I was searching for an external SDD storage for 1. speed in transfers and short edits on the go 2. lots of storage and working space and 3. simply be powered from the plug (no external powered brick). The only challenge I faced was availability as it is so new in the market. I've had them for only 10 days or so, so far so very good! Totally silent and doesn't get hot enough to be heat packs. The only drawback is they drain a lot of power when I transcode 4K files but that is to be expected, and a minor matter of workflow adjustment, which already is a big step forward in this aspect. 5

It's a great system so far and has been reliable and fast. I don't have heat or noise issues that others mentioned. I like the idea of a powered and fan-cooled station, feels more reliable than bus-powered drives. But I also like the portable housings option for on-the-go. The station is a great way to edit up to 16TB on one thunderbolt input. The blades feel professional in the hand and you can keep lots of them in a small amount of space. Wishes: -Why no thunderbolt on the portable housings? Makes no sense. -The Blades don't have caps. I'm surprised by this for a professional drive. The connections are exposed, we need a cap for these, so please release one and then start shipping them free it the blades. 5
